Wow !! welcome dcstar. That's amazing you've been a member since 2003 and have posted once ? That has to be some kind of record. I look forward to hearing more from you. :thumbsu:;)

Used to be quite active on "Tiger Talk" before I "retired" from it a couple of years ago, just had to update an ancient e-mail address on this forum that hasn't been used since decimal currency came in....... (almost...)

Only really here since I dug out these old posters today in a cleanup and was looking for some info on them. It's amazing the stuff you can accumulate over the years!

Also got a couple of those 1992 membership posters (with the big tiger flying with the St.Kilda players for a mark) in good nick. That poster still looks sensational!

You willing to sell one ? :p

Unfortunately I don't have the know how to download a couple of photos of my 2 most liked things. I've tried but I keep getting the message that the file size is too big. Anyway I have a centenary (2008) stripped jumper that I had signed over 3or 4 trips that year or so. By all the players, rookies, coaches. All except TW who even up until Jan 09 could not catch. After that many attempts I just thought, " I wonder if there's something in that ? " cards of all the first 22 around the border and legends cards front and back at the bottom. I also have a water color painting of Punt rd from 1949 by Paul Crompton crowd in the stands and a game in full swing. just thought it would be something good to have. Especially given the changes. It's something I really like. Would love to share it. Ideas anyone ?? PM me if you have cheers

Of all the stuff i have my favorite two are an original 3KZ vinyl LP of the final quarter of the 1967 GF with Harry Beitzel, Rod McLeod and Brian Simmons calling it, and on the flip side, Part 1 Dressing room interviews, part 2 match stats, and part 3 instant replay.

The other is a very, very floppy and paper thin 45 LP from Ampol with an interview of Royce Hart in a nice cover with his brief history and stats.

I have 9 1980 Richmond Premiership Newspapers for Sale, 7 post match newspapers and 2 grand final previews. They include the The Sun, The Herald, The Age. Sunday Press, Sunday Observer, Sporting Globe and Inside Football Annual. They are complete, not just lift-outs or souvenirs and nothing else, the papers are complete from cover to cover. Their condition is I think extremely good with only the Sporting Globe having a little bit torn off the bottom (view the images for all of them).

As to why I'm letting them go? Eventually (unless something dramatic happens) I will be relocating permanently in the US. I will be taking lots of Richmond items with me including clothing and other momentos etc, but I think the newspapers are a bridge too far. It will be a bit much asking the Americans to 'get it'. And there is no point holding onto these papers if I can't occasionally show them off (in America they'd just be something you'd line a bird cage with). Plus let's face it, the less I have to ship overseas the cheaper it will be. It's still a very regretful sale I must say as I bought them personally. I have listed it on Ebay but I will entertain offers (but please don't be annoyed if I take my time to think about it and eventually say no - I really don't know how much they are worth, for all I know they might not be worth anything at all. So I'm playing this by ear). Needless to say I would like them to end up with someone that would appreciate them.

Also please check out some Richmond clothing I'm selling as which is kind of surplus to my needs including a vintage Richmond Vivid Bomber Jacket with leather sleeves. Anyhow feel free to ask questions and thanks for reading this.

Here is the ebay link with loads of images
