Just the usual. If we play our best, we win, and win well. If we don't, then we could be on strife. I am hoping for a 6 goal victory. We need Smith and Doc, just to name a couple, to show some form. Glad to have Langers back.

If you look at average games between the two named sides it looks pretty even. 115 Hawks v 110 Tigers.

But the median reveals there is a gulf in experience. 117 Hawks v 79 Tigers.

Sorry for the intrusion, but just thought id expand on this point

This season the amount of youngsters we have played has really gone under the radar. In this game we will probably have the most we've had in any game so far, with these being the least experienced:

Castagna - 2nd game
Short - 3rd game
Rioli - 5th game
Menadue - 12th game
C. Ellis - 13th game

I see you guys have quite a few younger guys playing this game which may even it out a little bit, but your overall experience should really allow you to run away quite easily

Tipped you by 40+

Hawks have this. With no frawley in defence, expect the midfield, particularly Lewis to lift. Win the contested ball, shield Mitchell and destroy them moving the ball forward. Game over by half time

Geebus, wish I had your confidence
Might lay a couple of pineapples down on the tigers as they are paying about $5

We may have the least experienced we've had in a fair while too.

Brand - 1st game
O'Brien - 8th game
Howe - 8th game
Sicily - 10th game

If any of the nine listed under 15 gamers can have a major influence would certainly have a major impact on the result.

:):thumbsu: - all the best.

No need to apologize if you're here to talk sensibly about the game.

The spread of games experience is a lot smoother across your team than ours. Not that it matters unless you subscribe to a theory that inexperienced players struggle to play to their potential when surrounded by a large number of far more experienced players.

We've had a very green bottom six this year and without checking this could be the first game we've played for the year where our bottom 6-7 have been more experienced. Though in terms of ability they seem fairly evenly matched. So it'll likely come down to both sides 100+ gamers.

I feel if we play as well as we did against Adelaide we will win, expect tigers to try and make this an ugly scrappy low scoring game and niggle our players.

Can't let them dictate terms, they haven't kicked 100pts once and been held to less than 10 goals twice we should be able to do enough, I'm hoping for more of a 2014 than 2015 game

Just leaving Anfield after seeing Liverpool through to the final, now need Hawks to smash Tigers for the longest drunken weekend since The Threepeat. Hawks by plenty and I'll be off line until I sober up!!! Go Hawks!

Great to see another Hawks / 'Pool support combo.

...except Hodge (275) and Frawley (163) out for Langford (38) & Hartung (32) ....

Players under 50 games playing tonight
Langford - 38
Ceglar - 36
Hartung - 32
Sicily - 9
TOB - 7
Howe - 7
Brand - 0

And top-10 most experienced players on the list, we're missing 3: Hodge, 275; Rough, 231 & Frawley 163, and of the players that have already had a debut, we're playing 4/10 of our least-AFL game players (Hartung 32, Sicily 9, Howe 7, TOB 7) with Lovell & Pitts on 1 game each and Woodward on 2 games both not playing.

Every player on our list between 100-150 games is playing (McEvoy, Shiels, Stratton, Breust, Puopolo, Smith & Gunston). Of these players, Puopolo Stratton and Smith are the only players over 27, which is a positive sign for the development of our side going forward.

40+? I'd be happy with that but think it'll be closer.
