Play Nice Tippett Nominates Sydney - Part II

Only the most ridiculously one eyed twit would ever accuse Sydney of not dealing fairly with Adelaide.
Made up stories, speculation, whinging, sooking...it has been endless with this simple trade.

All thats happened is that Tippett wanted out...not even contracted. He tells his club he's going then does the right thing and doesnt dutch auction himself and simply nominates a club that has made him an offer...thats the way it should be so that Adelaide arnt fart arsing about with tyre kickers...its the way it invariably is with just about every trade when a player asks for a move.

Who the hell wants to keep a bloke who doesnt want to be at your club...stop ya sooking and hypocritical contrived garbage looking for sympathy and get on with it.

You've got some very nice value out of good relationship with Sydney in the past...even just last year.

Short bloody memories some of these ones.

Ohh woe is me...wont somebody please help save us from the injustices in this world.

You try losing 3 KPP's to huge money in as many years and receive **** all in return for them, and then get back to us.

Piss off.

Yes, it is. Why would he have even signed an extension on his contract if he really didn't want to be at Sydney? Sydney traded him because they saw an opportunity to turn one player into two.

No one knows the reasoning, I'm not pretending I do. All I can assume is he was happy to go back home, the clus was happy to try and accommodate him, but at the same time make sure we had the opportunity to pick up another forward to replace him. I'd still rather we kept Johnston tbh.

wonder if bollox would be singing the same tune if the shoe was on the other foot.

i somewhat doubt it.

if kurt wants to go 'home' to sydney so bad, why is he refusing to speak to greater western SYDNEY? are they based in indonesia or something?

Let us be honest here Tippett is not going home, home is Gold Coast, he is going for money only, any mention of going home is bullshit and does not factor into the discussion of trading Tippett to Sydney so comparisons to players who wanted to "go home" are irrelevant.

butbutbut he's an outstanding human being who has most definitely done the right thing here!

I dont bother with bandwagoners. Go learn how to troll from some more experienced Adelaide posters.

I get it, when someone calls you on your crap posting they are trolling. I am guessing it is the same when they post something you disagree with or that proves you wrong. You are probably a top bloke in real life..

Amusing little deflection re Lewis Johnston. We traded a fringe player and #35 for one of your fringe players. Neither made an impact in 2012. Wow, stop the presses! I'm glad we're getting our karmic comeuppance; look forward to cheering on Kurtley in the future!

All the sooking and pathetic whining is based on an emotional NEED.
A NEED to think of Tippett as a villain. How dare he not want to play for us !!!

Then there's this overriding NEED to act as naive as possible, just for effect. No chance any other club has made him an offer...no chance any other club could be wondering whether to make a play for Tippett and up the ante...even with a week to go.

Naive in the extreme if you think Tippett and his management havent at least had talks with others, or might even be open to a QLD based offer that could change at any moment.

Nahhh...he said he wanted to go home !!! Wahhhhhh !! Prick !!!

If he comes to Sydney he's 55 dollars and 55 minutes from QLD.

What sort of absolute IDIOT would he be to totally throw away the chance at a flag in the near term ?..just to make a few bleeding heart whingers at Adelaide think he's not such a big bad prick.

He's 25 years old is he ?? next game as a 26ish ?? whatever.. He's a professional footballer. Nothing to say Brissy or even GC cant win a flag in the next 5 yrs, BUT its neither a crime against the Adelaide sooks, nor some sort of unfair crime in general if he decided he might actually think his chances are better with Sydney right now. He may have even rejected a BETTER offer for the chance.

You want to speculate and paint the bloke as a villain ? Try to be realistic about it at least.

I'm not sure which big rubber dong Adelaide fans feel they're having to choose ...is it the fact he wanted out ?..or that he's chosen to favour an offer from a club that just won the flag ?

Such a selfish thing to do isnt it...doing the right thing by himself rather than pandering to a bunch of sooks that wouldnt care what he decided.

White and 22 eh... Not bad.

Did say that was going to be the deal in Part I.

Never know, White could become a star. He had the makings of a Buddy Frankline esque player, just could never put it together with his defence.

Might turn it around...

Might...

Tippett deciding on one club in one city with a strong bargaining position is the worst outcome for Adelaide.

Adelaide would get a better deal if Tippett just wanted to move to NSW, Qld or NSW/Qld.

Regardless of your opinion of Tippett you can't paint him as looking out for his former club and keep a straight face.

Ok...so you also want all the out of contract players wanting to leave to fore go their futures and simply announce "i'm off...no idea where...but i'm heading off"

...and how exactly does Sydney have any stronger bargaining position than any other club would ?...they have LESS bargaining power than other clubs that were previously mooted for Tippett.

Maybe, just to please a few that cannot be pleased, this bloke should just say to Adelaide "i really dont mind where i go, i'm not interested in helping my future, just get the maximum you can for me and if that means i end up in shitsville for the rest of my days so be it"

With their massive advantage Gold Coast, Brisbane, GWS for instance can make Tippett a big money offer and happily stuff Adelaide about offering peanuts for 3 weeks. Not the first time nor the last. Whats the downside ? If the AFL stay out of it those clubs can feasibly have him for NOTHING if they so choose. Poor old broken hearted Crows fans would be seriously whingeing then. Sydney need to at least pay Adelaide a reasonably fair price or they miss out totally..every emotional crows fan in here seems to think thats the case too. No shortage of them saying just that. So how the hell would they be feeling knowing how easy it would be in theory for GWS or GC or even Brissy to take him for nothing in a draft ?

No club enjoys not having the upper hand when an out of contract player leaves...for some strange reason though this bloke is meant to throw away any advantage he has for his future, and do everyone else a favour except himself, and in the process guarantee nothing extra for Adelaide and probably LESS.

When Judd left your mob he fielded offers, then nominated his club of choice. Told the weagles who to trade with and it gets done.Any out of contract player leaving with currency does the same...different class of player sure, but its no different with Tippett. Luke Ball was wanted by the Pies and said "get me there". Strange that players in demand dont throw themselves at the mercy of a pack ?

They seemed perfectly happy assuming he was going to Brissy or GC all this season...when they would be running a risk of getting less for him. Liar Liar pants on fire !!...wahhhhh !!....thats all this childish crap has been about. Wouldnt matter where he was going...wahhhhhhhh !!!

Seriously, mate, get the Kleenex out. Cry me a ****ing river.

Why not asking your management to try NOT losing 3 KPP's in as many years?! Sydney regarded Sam Reid as a potentially valuable asset and tied him up for at least 5 years. It's called professional forecasting, management and list building.

Many of you Crows fans are coming across as sooks - accusing everyone (swans, AFL, God, the vibe) and everything of unfairness. The fact is - you didn;t manage your list and Tippett wanted out. Bridge building time.
