Neale saying he didn't make contact with the eye, along with inconclusive footage surely meant he had to get off.
Tribunal surely has to make decisions based on evidence, not sure what evidence was used in convicting Greene.

Stop this "inconclusive vision" lie. The initial footage was inconclusive but the footage shown on 360 last night was %100 conclusive, unless you're blind, biased, or you're looking at it on a tiny iphone screen.

You can clearly see him claw at Neale's eyes. There's no question;

If the AFL is down the line then a lot of players are going to get a week from now on.

Jack Riewoldt just said that in 270 games he has never had anyone make contact to his face like this. It isn't something that happens regularly, the 99% of players that don't go at peoples faces when they are prone on the ground will be fine.

Another example of the AFL's incompetence at managing conflicts of interest. You can't put two ex Cwood players on a tribunal here without creating a perception of conflict regardless of whether they were actually conflicted in their decision.

Grounds for appeal on that basis alone.

Totally amateurish by Gil and co.

That’s crap. He brought this upon himself. Copped a big fine last week then goes out and does almost exactly the same. The tribunal had little choice than to uphold it.

The tribunal are supposed to look at this incident in isolation. What happened last week shouldn't have crossed their minds in the slightest.

It doesn't bother you that when actual contact was made last week it was just a fine, but when it's alleged (with no proof, and everyone involved deny it happened) it's a week off? Doesn't the inconsistency bother you?

Or do you not care because you think Toby Greene is a dickhead?
I think he's a dickhead too, but ultimately I just want the AFL to not be so inconsistent on decisions. I want them to stop being the incompetent organisation they are.

It's an inconsistent result but the fact is that you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. And Toby has been playing stupid games his whole career.

The bloke is a grub and now he's missing a prelim with noone to blame but himself and his merry band of enablers at GWS led by spineless wonder in chief Leon Cameron.

But the video evidence highlighted on AFL360 (boy, didn’t Whateley sink the boot in!) does show Greene briefly dragging his fingers over Neale’s eyes. Now, whether that contact was forceful, significant, insignificant, accidental or whatever, there was contact.

A 2d video does not show that. Ever heard of false perspective.
The victim even confirmed it.

It was 2 completely different charges.

The tears are only falling because they’re playing Collingwood. It’s okay though because Maynard would have shoved him in his pocket anyway if he played. If anything, GWS are more likely to get up now that he’s not playing
Plagiarist!! 🤣🤣

Their reason is to look like they’re doing something to “clean up the game” lol

I called it from the beginning. These women you mention probably have bad consciences and are unloading it on Greene for a dopamine hit. He’s a scapegoat pure and simple.

Yep..

And within that segment a man also rang up saying that kids won't want to play footy after seeing this. They'll play NRL and Basketball. I actually had a giggle, because this guy thinks NRL is less thuggery than AFL.

Players always dob each other in at the Tribunal...
Wether or not they do

The video is inconclusive.

Both the victim and the perpetrator say it didn't happen.

And yet the 3 ex pies upheld the decision.
