No. Im just again simply replying to your view on a fooy forum.Yeah yeah

My view in this trade will be closer than your 2 x 1st roundersNo. Im just again simply replying to your view on a fooy forum.
That’s where pick 13 comes in. It gets silly when it becomes 2 firsts (even with a 2nd coming back) for a guy who we will hope to get 3 of his better years out of.The draft's a gacha game. Any list manager in the country would go out and spend a top pick on an elite KPD if they think they were in the window, instead of speculating on a kid who may come good once the window's passed.
It simply depends on a where a club sees they are at in the cycle and clearly Hawthorn thinks they are coming into contention and the backline is the main thing holding them back, which is why they're going for Barrass and Battle. They're not loking for stop-gap players here, they're looking to cash in and win flags.
You clearly hope to get 5 years, hence the trigger. That’s where pick 13 comes in. It gets silly when it becomes 2 firsts (even with a 2nd coming back) for a guy who we will hope to get 3 of his better years out of.
I think your view is to simplistic. You clearly hope to get 5 years, hence the trigger.
You've offered him 5, which means you're expecting to contend during that time and need an elite KPD.I think your view is to simplistic.
The plan at this stage will likely be get 3 good years out of him and another as a seasoned vet leading the way, we would be hoping McCabe over takes him that season. Then we have an extra year option if his from is good enough to trigger it.
Why are we desperate. I would be happy to keep barrass.Which team gets more upset if the trade fails to get done
I would say the Eagles are more desperate to trade Barrass out for a pick than Hawks are to trade him into their club
#13 + F3 is more than enough to get this done
Ofc we are going to develop McCabe why else would he be on the list. He is a first round draft pick key defender. Would learn heaps off a Barrass. You've offered him 5, which means you're expecting to contend during that time and need an elite KPD.
You're not bringing in Barrass to develop McCabe.
You're not bringing Barrass in to develop him though, you're bringing him in to win a flag.Ofc we are going to develop McCabe why else would he be on the list. He is a first round draft pick key defender. Would learn heaps off a Barrass.
We are bringing in Barrass for the immediate impact over the next 3 or so seasons correct. You're not bringing Barrass in to develop him though, you're bringing him in to win a flag.
Obviously senior players help younger players develop.
5*We are bringing in Barrass for the immediate impact over the next 3 or so seasons correct.
FMD....you think it would've made "because he's has a friend" sound any more ridiculous than it already did.Did I say it was confirmed? I said it's a possibility. FMD some seriously dumb takes in here
LolWhat have they got to salivate about?
Pick 3 they should use in the draft
Whatever they get for Barrass they will use on Baker which makes no sense
If they trade Waterman would help
Liam Ryan might get them something
But are they even going to trade the last 2 ?
Well he only has a 4 year contract with a trigger so if you want to hold that opinion it's 4. But 3 would be the expectation if we get 4 at that level that's a bonus, not expected, if we get 5 you beauty.
So just give him a 3 year contract on the same money then.Well he only has a 4 year contract with a trigger so if you want to hold that opinion it's 4. But 3 would be the expectation if we get 4 at that level that's a bonus, not expected.
Don't be silly, also can you explain your opinion more, in confused where it differs from my own.So just give him a 3 year contract on the same money then.
Well you're saying it's only for 3 years(your club has offered 4 with a trigger for a 5th), it McCabe is going to come on, just save yourself the list spot and offer him the same money but a shorter contract.Don't be silly, also can you explain your opinion more, in confused where it differs from my own.
So you obviously know WAY more than Sam Mitchell does...Arrogant? Pretty sure that word doesn’t mean what you think it means.
For a KPD whose never been AA and won’t be in the league for much longer it’s a big price to pay.
Okay I see where you got confused, no I said the club would be expecting 3 quality seasons out of Barrass with the 4th potentially being a transition year with McCabe. The 5th is a trigger if his body holds up he will trigger it so that's a bonus.Well you're saying it's only for 3 years(your club has offered 4 with a trigger for a 5th), it McCabe is going to come on, just save yourself the list spot and offer him the same money but a shorter contract.
You are being so disingenuous. West Coast could happily satisfy his request without hurting the club, they are only in this position because of promises made to him. You are being super naive if you truly believe West Coast want him to stay.Expecting someone to honour their contract isn't pushing them out.
Gee some people are stupid on this board...
He's welcome to stay on the money he's on.You are being so disingenuous. West Coast could happily satisfy his request without hurting the club, they are only in this position because of promises made to him. You are being super naive if you truly believe West Coast want him to stay.
He's not stayingHe's welcome to stay on the money he's on.
