I think there’s only so many heart and soul players you can force out before the playing group starts revolting and not buying into the culture anymore.

He basically carried our entire midfield for multiple years which is an amazing feat in itself even discounting all the individual awards he won during his time with us.

He will also fit in so well with your senior players like Pendles, Sidebottom, etc because like those guys this guy just doesn't put in a bad performance. The ultimate pro.

Make his role a simple one (win the ball and give it to your skilled mids) and he will absolutely smash it next year.

First I have heard of it TBH.

Apart from the year he missed from the broken leg he has been an amazingly durable player at the Hawks.

Baring another random impact injury I’d say he would be good for at least 20 games a season the next three years.
