Mate, the word "licker" is an oft-used perjorative against lesbians here in Australia. Tom Morris probably thinks it's hilarious to extend this to "licker license".Is it?
I'm straight - wouldn't be concerned if I was described as having my own licker license.
It may be a point of semantics but I really don't see the insult, malice or vilification etc.
I was more of the opinion that it was just a rude way to speak about a colleague in general when this first became an 'issue'.
It's crudely reducing people to a sex act, like calling someone a cawksucker, or a rug muncher, or a clam diver. These are derogatory terms. We don't crudely label heterosexuals by what they do in bed. So what makes you think it's inoffensive to label LGBT people in such a way?
Grow a brain, FFS!!!
edit: Tom Morris was not only homophobic, but while gossiping & objectifying his work colleague, he also publicly outed her.
