really? it's meant to... :) ah well, as long as you've got it going on. :D
yeh, comes up with an error page below, when trying to switch from supercoach to dreamteam and vice versa (actually any link i click leads to the error page); then i click the refresh button you have on the site and it loads up.:thumbsu: all good.

Love the site Walesy, is there a way where once I have selected my team, I can view it only, without having to scroll through the 700 odd players??

And I hate to be sceptical, but is everything based on last years 'number', and is there a chance this could be different this year?

Congrats on all the work you have put into it though, and thanks for sharing it this year.

Sure is mate. :D See the filters up the top? Namely Team, Watchlist, Fresh meat, Injuries?

Click on Team. :D

Secondly, I don't doubt that it will change.

Though techincally, it is using this years *starting* magic number, which was different from last years magic number.

Last year the Starting Magic number and the in-season magic number were different... but not by too much.

(And I'll be updating to reflect that on Monday morning. :D)

You've got it all covered Walesy. How's your own team doing?

just found out the site was made for Internet Explorer (IE) and works perfectly with it :thumbsu:, and not Mozilla; that's why it kept coming up with error pages.

Originally, it was written in ASP with VB script and a MSSQL backend.

But I converted it to PHP, j script and MySQL to make it work on Firefox. :)

Strange to here that you're getting fire-fox only error... but good to hear that you've got it working now. :D

Quick question Walesy:

At the moment, in the "total movement" column, is that how much each player will go up or down by...IF they score their current average this round (3)? Assuming that round 3 will be their third game.

If I click on someone like Rioli, it says his current 'total movement' is 187'300, yet when i click on his name, and his average of 90.5 is entered for rounds 3, 4 and 5. OR does that mean his price will go up by 187300 after round 5 if he continues his 90.5 average up until round 5?

Just trying to work out how quickly these prices go up and down.
I'm hoping that a 90.5 game this week will see him go up 187'300.

Cheers

Alrighty, you've got 4 columns.
Next round, 2 rounds, 3 rounds and Total movement.

Next round is their predicted movement for the next round.
2 rounds is their predicted movement for Two rounds away (ie. Round 4)
3 rounds, as above but round 5.

Total movement is the sum of the 3 weeks movement. :D

Hot off the presses - Paging.

No longer do you have to download everything everytime. Not with the shiny new Paging feature.

Found on the Accounts page, you can now set TooSerious to display a set amount of rows per page, then page through them.

Very friendly to those "Broadbandedly-handicapped" peoples. ;)

Enjoy.

Walsey, just a quick little thought.

Maybe you could add to the site a function where we can input what we think the player will score this week and it will adjust its price or the value it will go up accordingly?

It's like he read your mind from the future. That feature has been available for the past 4 weeks. When logged in just click on a players name.
Maybe a tooltip when you hover over a players name would make this feature more intuitive Walesy

There's a tool tip that reads "Click to drill down"...
:D

That's totally intuitive isn't it?

(ok, maybe not. :D) Cheers for answering for me though! :D

Howdy folks.
As the season progresses, it's not just who's going up and down that matters. It's when they peak and when they bottom out that you need.
As such, when clicking on a players name, you can now see their projected movement for the entire season...
In graph form.
Graphs.png

ooohhh, So J. Brown should bottom out *next* week should he...
interesting. ;)
(ps. I can definitely see this becoming a Donor only thing after this week. ;) )

Great site.

May I ask though - is it possible when clicking the Watch List that only the watch list players come up instead of the watch list players along with my current players?

Is this possible, or is there a reason they show up together?

Once again, thanks for all of your hard work.

nah, sorry mate... It's mainly there so you can compare players that are in you team with those that aren't...

You can sort by that column though...
