My head hurts trying to come up with a top 10 but I'd have Sheezel, Xerri & LDU in that order. Xerri could seriously give Harry a run for his money though and I wouldn't be upset if he challenged or even pinched it due to a couple of missed games at the end from Sheezel.

Our voting system is bizarre.

I don't mind aspects of it. Being resilient, fit, training and prepping well so as to be able to get up and play 20+ rounds is a valuable thing at a club level. Players that can get on the field, stay on the field and perform are better for a team. Well aware some if it is just bad luck but I don't mind the idea that blokes that work their arses off in the gym or eat well so they can back it up are rewarded intrinsically.

For the Syd Barker this year, I think the top 3 will be a toss up between Harry, Big X and LDU. The order might change with Harry missing the last 2 due to injury. So this poll is who you think will be in positions 4 - 10?


Coaches vote individually after every round for the Syd Barker Medal via a 4-3-2-1 system, with five coaches voting each week. It means the maximum number of votes any player can receive in one round is 20.

I have not selected players with just a handful of games.

I like that it’s your best 20 games cos then you aren’t penalised for missing 1-2 games over a year for any reason such as a concussion
