didak kicking style is used on an insturctional video when showing young kids how to kick properly, one of the best kicks in the league!
Thsi wouldnt suprise me at all he seems to be fairly acurate off the boot and is smart around goals but he has the pace and skill to be put on the ball.

Can also kick the ball a fair way for a little fella :D

I'm pretty pleased with this forward line when they are all on the park together and firing.

Medhurst McPharlin J.Longmuir
Headland Pavlich Farmer

Has the full deal, tall marking players, small men at their feet, creative smalls, and plenty of speed.

yep freo looks good

still reckon its saints by a fair bit

then collingwood, essendon perhaps freo the next rung, as they all have good key forwards

Freo's forward line actually isnt that bad i mean its 100 times better than West coast's! :p

Would like to see Headland gain some form back since we traded him he hasnt looked that promising....

St Kilda

daylight

Sydney
Melbourne

Versatile, hard to match up on, no huge weaknesses.
HF:Green (28 goals) Holland(18)/Miller (not a goal kicker, yet) Davey(30 goals)
FF:Yze(41 goals) Neitz (39 goals) Robertson (73 goals)

Surely more impressive than the likes of Essendon, Freo and Brisbane.

Mlbourne definately have some talent up forward but i'm not sure that it is any more defficult to match up on than any other teams forwards..

By the way............Brisbane didnt do to bad matchin up on them this year :p :thumbsu:

if miller or holland was any good then yep melbourne would be right up there, but they're not that good

so only have the one real key position player in neitz, they are the most important so back with sydney because all the rest, yze, green, robbo aren't key forwards

just because u smash a team in the middle it doesn't make ur forward line any good

west coast big problem is the forward line, just like at the pies its the midfield, probably better to have a good midfield it seems!

Were talking about who as the best forward lines here .........not who won the game.

And with a good forward line you could have won those games by way way more if your midfielders had targets to kick to up forward instead of having to kick goals themselves

In modern footy a forward line just dosent line up with the traditional and simplistic 6 man forward line structures that you see in the papers

Note that teams with alleged "No forward lines" in the Doggies and WCE finished 2nd and 3rd for most points scored (from memory) in this years H & A season which would suggest that they had very efficient forward line structures in place.

WCE forward line was never set up to rely on one or two individual forwards to score there goals and for good reasons.

Teams like Freo, Essendon and Carlton who did struggled to make the eight this year

The fact that many teams also tended to drop numbers into defence because of the WCE dominent midfield also ment that it often had a 8 man or more forward line as Worsfold would not let opposition teams have loose men in defence

It is also to be noted that teams with alleged "No forward lines" in the Doggies and WCE finished 2nd and 3rd for most points scored (from memory) in this years H & A season which would suggest that they had very efficient forward line structures in place.

Good point but the post is about which team has the best forward line

Sorry, my mistake

Thought this thread was about the teams best forward line structures as oppossed to the teams with the best forwards.

There is a difference

IMO what made the Eagles forward line dangerous for most of the season apart from having midfielders that are also goal scorers was that players like Embley, Hunter, Chick and Cox could all be swung into the forward line and become very dangerous players

Robertson Neitz Davey

Bruce Miller Green

in reserve: Yze, Pickett, Holland and Sylvia

Miller no good? You're just dirty he got 23 possies and 13 marks against your mob in a BOG performance...

There's your 3rd best forwardline in the league
