We all know how this goes. Minnow flogs jelly their pathetic teams aren't good enough to get a true marque game melt uncontrollably about how unfair it is that the 2 biggest AFL clubs in the world share the biggest AFL game in the world (outside of a game in September that most flogs don't GAF about).

But this year their is added spice with the mightly Bombers and the teethless campaigners equal first. Not that we needed to justify our ownership of Anzac Day of course, but this should increase the melt level quite a lot.

Yarra city Council is also a Hippie/Green Council so I don't think they believe in parades. Not environmentally friendly.

They probably agree with you on everything else though.

Bruce Ruxton was a complete **** but I guess that's neither here nor there.

Collingwood are a pack of draft dodging cowards who let the country down during both major world wars it needs to be said.

Melbourne (by a fair margain), South Melbourne, Carlton and Geelong lost most players serving our country in those wars..

Melbourne v Carlton on Anzac Day for the Ron Barassi medal is something I could perhaps reluctantly support (as long as all the money from the game goes to War Orphans or Greenpeace)

Because it's turned to that kind of discussion;

I am anti war. But I think ANZAC day should be an important day because we are remembering people who were forced to fight for Australia (and forced to die by the British at gallipoli.) I think that by remembering what happened and how horrible it is, we avoid repeating it.

I do hate how the AFL has kinda monetised it though with all the Anzac day merch.
The only one should be the Poppy Appeal.
