Hm, I don't get Reid @ $800k. He's OK as a second forward or defender and can pinch hit in the ruck, but he's not worth anywhere near that coin.
But moving on, if we are chasing Reid and Jaksch, how de we trade for that?
How do we get both with probable picks of about 7, 26 and 27?
Would see #26 for Reid and #27 for Jaksch more than fair.
Remember Longer went to the Saints for #25. Jaksch is out of contract and apparently Sydney need to free up cap space.
No way would 26 get Reid, not even close. Remember he is still in contract so they don't need to trade him if they don't want. Another club could just offer a lot more than 26 and get him.
Wherever the talk of Jones being delisted (don't know how it started) is complete poppycock. He's still a valued member of the team.Would never suggest jones should be delisted. Not in the slightest. He would have quite decent trade value.
I'm interested to know why you think this Fronk. Sydney's KPP depth is very shallow. Almost all of them are injury-prone, ageing, or, well, terrible. It's all making some sense now.
The swans needing to free space to re-sign grundy (fact). Reid is the obvious one to move (ie high enough salary and least important).
I want Reid at the Dogs. I think he could work well at CHF with Jones at FF.
I think you should look at Reid's stats. He may take the odd nice mark, but overall he is inconsistent and has never dominated being the main KPF. Like I said before #26 is fair. If Sydney need to free up salary cap space they will move him on.
He is a KP player though and you after to over pay to get them. His market value would be a mid to late first round pick.
Out of interest... What is Casboult's trade value?
Didn't look great. He's had hamstring issues in each of his years at GWS, as well as in his junior career. Hopefully he can get past them. You might of been onto something with O'Rourke's hamstrings, Dannnnnnnnnn.
Pretty simple equation for me dannnnnn. Reid isn't that good, would net them a good pick and they have tippet, buddy and goodes could play Reids role (he barely has a role to be honest) no problem next season.I'm interested to know why you think this Fronk. Sydney's KPP depth is very shallow. Almost all of them are injury-prone, ageing, or, well, terrible.
They're also likely to lose Malceski, O'Keeffe, Roberts-Thomson and potentially Goodes so I don't see why they'd be desperate to shed cap. Tom Mitchell is also on a very decent salary and could request a trade.
Collingwood spends 4-5 times more then us on recruitmentWas listening to triple m this morning before the game.
They stated that Paul Roos is earning more than the entire bulldogs coaching staff and melb wants a pick.
get stuffed
No friggen wayHrovat > O'rourke
Disregard draft position, and tell me why O'Rourke is better. Because everything they've respectively shown points to Hrovat being better. No friggen way
I thought he meantDisregard draft position, and tell me why O'Rourke is better. Because everything they've respectively shown points to Hrovat being better.
Well either way my point still stands. Because at the moment, Hrovat is worth more than O'Rourke, because really all O'Rourke has to go on is the fact that he was pick 2.I thought he meant
Hrovat is worth far more then what O'Rourke has produced to date?
You'll have less key position depth if you hang onto Reid and grundy walks. Ones a beast shut down key defender. The other is a flakey, overpaid athlete trying to play football. We have no KPP depth as it is with LRT retiring , Walsh going home so cant see Reid leaving at all , plus he is Longmires little boy and loves him to death , just go and listen to Horse last trade period when Reids name was brought up.
Said Reid was untouchable and 12 months on it will be no different , plus with LRT , ROK , Shaw , Walsh going at years end he wont be pushed out due to money.
Mitchell would be put up before Reid as we have Heeney , Mills , Dunkley coming in and our oldest mid is McVeigh 29 so we have enough depth in that area but KPP no
