It was Fronk and he is usually reliable, but you cant always get it right.

People need to stop taking things personally and settle down. This thread is getting very angsty for no reason.

I am still unclear why how long you've been a member for is relevant, but forget it.

Supporters get their backs up when people post unsubstantiated rumours questioning the character of players at their club. Not surprising and completely understandable.

Fair enough, and apologies. I actually appreciate any inside information from sources in the club, whether it's eventually right or wrong :thumbsu:

The other bloke who posted the same rumour, claiming to have heard it whilst at Mad Monday whilst the players were locked in the Rainbow Hotel, got on my nerves because that's just attention seeking and clearly he was talking out of his arse.

membership relevant because I was accused of being a troll....non-doggie supporter and especially given the events over the last month I didn't like it

The Carlton board have a 'Bluemour' thread. I think it's a good idea - keeps the discussion about how true or not what somebody is claiming in there and doesn't clutter the list management thread.

Cheers and I read the same comments and thought similar things....my source is an Uncle of one of the players who is also a shit stirrer....automatically become suspicious when he gives me info which is why I like to clarify

You were replied to by someone that said the exact same thing as you in regards to Adams & I
personally don't think its a rumor worth worrying about even if it was true. If it happens to be true I'm sure our club will manage with it the best that they can.

Dunkley is our backup option.

Seriously though, if we are unlucky enough to have both Roughead and Campbell unavailable on the same week, having Boyd ruck a game out by himself is far from the end of the world. We kinda won our first prelim in 55 years against one of the best teams in the comp with that setup...

Considering the climate on BF lately I'm sure you can understand when a debutant comes on the board and starts these kinds of rumours it appears troll like.

Plus we use a hashtag that (theoretically) should only be used when a poster has a legit rumour. 'Follow' that hashtag and you receive a notification anytime anyone uses it. Works a treat if you're looking to save time trawling through pages of general chatter.

We won despite that setup though, not because it worked well.

No it isn't. Hashtag with rumour leads to discussion. There could be pages separating two different rumours.
