I reckon I'd knock it back too if I was really confident that we could re-sign Adams. But if we reckon Adams will just go next year anyway, it'd be tempting to cut our losses quickly and take a long term prospect and develop him.

They may have the same issue with Pearce for all we know. Had to laugh at a Freo mod saying he wouldn't trade Pearce for Hamling, Adams & P18...

A fair group of our board didn't rate Talia as a defender.

The defensive setups of the two teams are pretty damn different.

That said, I'd be recruiting him predominantly as forward depth.

- quickish
- tallish
- smartish

Considering Hawks and Sydney regularly face off in finals, it doesn't seemed to have soured their trading relationship at all.

Im sure Sydney can get a deal done if they want to with most teams without too much angst.
