Why not upgrade our first round pick? That would be more useful.... unless Wingard confirms he wants to join us, pick 4 would be awesome.

They need 4 for Neale as a minimum. Given it seems Adams has been hell bent on getting out for some time, I’d be doing no favours for him. They are also building a pretty good list so hardball for their 2nd I think is fair

Last I heard he wasn’t super popular but club conscious they can’t just tip out so many players in their mid 20s (Adams, Dahl, retirements of Biggs, Clay) and take a heap of picks to the draft given we are already so young.

Players with 1 year to go on their contract have power. Players with 2 years on their contract don’t.

We don’t want to lose him unless it’s a very good deal for us. That’s what I was told anyway.

We will have a gaping hole in defence.
I'm glad Roberts is still on the list.

Who are the other defenders out there that can plug this hole? I'd say state league names but the best ones will be unfairly fed to carltank and gold coast.

Goldsack would get a sniff in the fringes of my best 22 in my senior side. He'd be a massive asset for our young backs as well.

Don’t think it’s about money for Adams. Wants a fresh start after his injuries. Mustn’t have faith in our medical department.
