Lloyd is currently in our best team but to be honest with our dearth of natural forwards that's not saying much.
To be a truly transcendent team we'll need to move past players like him.

We won a flag with guys like Roberts, Biggs and Cordy (at CHF) in the team. The line of thought that we can’t be a great team with Lloyd in the lineup is truly hilarious.

Not alone Lachy , I wasn’t that thrilled getting Lloyd . Didn’t think he would add much.
My memory had MD saying both Lloyd and Duryea were walk up starts in our team back them.
I got them both wrong . Both been very solid.

Considering his recent history of injuries and the fact that he has put off having surgery on his back for two years has convinced him that his best interest lay in the known, knowns of the contract extension that was triggered this year.

It may be a little fanciful, but I think a case could be made that Keath, Martin, Bruce and even Smith are all awaiting the end of our finals campaign in a few weeks before committing to us. I'm sure the club would rather that were the case as well.

Competition for spots has been tough this year. Imagine next year, some very capable AFL players will be playing VFL. The next few years should be fun even without all four.

Glad the Crows low ball most of their players, so we can be almost certain that Keath is on the move. At least we can get an elite interceptor.

Could see the need for a small defender. Had my eyes on N Jetta who was a free agent. Misread Duryea, just didn't realise he was so good defensively. Good pickup and good call by the folk who saw it.

Don’t worry about it mate . If there’s one thing you learn as you get older , is not get too uptight with what people might say. We all think differently , and you know the old saying ,an opinion is like an aresole we all have one !
