Anyone else really nervous?

A bit. Not good that Carlton folded on their deal earlier. Gives Dodo some ammo.

My mind is just set on:

• We fold on Dunkley - faith lost in the club 100%
• We get overs for Dunkley - pumped for 2021

As Bulldogs supporters, it is inherent in our beings to be nervous 24x7, 365 days p.a. Having said that, I am surprisingly less nervous today than I expected - this is not a 2014 implosion of departing coach, captain, Brownlow medallist and silky-skilled utility.

The sun will come up on Friday, no matter where Dunkley, Treloar and any other players end up, Bevo will still be coach, Bont will still be an ostrich captain. So, all good.

(Edit: for anyone who missed it, the ostrich reference is to (allegedly) Andrew Dunkley

To be fair, most AFL players aren't exactly blessed for brains. Not every player can be a genius like Bulldogs Ruckman Stef Martin

I can understand it but it's a crazy amount to play for a HBF - it's the easiest spot on an AFL list to fill.

Could only trade for pick 2, AFTER we’d traded with the crows and they’d committed to not bidding.

If we traded for pick 2 BEFORE we’d traded with Adelaide, they would have our nuts in a vice like you’d never believe.
