I like Hill, I think he could be good. I’d be approaching GWS and saying, we’d offer P2 2022 for him, if you can’t make a deal with the Bombers.

From what I recall, Hill wants to Victoria - and prefers Essendon. But we offer a better chance of success for Hill and are easier for GWS to deal with.

We aren’t missing out if we don’t rate the player. We engaged in a massive circle jerk when we finally drafted a tall back. Best tall back in the draft we said, thank god we didn’t pass like all the other teams we said, massive steal falling through to our pick we said..

Kinda weird he’d go back to Geelong after they cut him. Although he is from around there and Scarlett is gone so maybe that changes things for him.

I hope we’re having a crack at least. Every club probably should be, he’s only 20. Depending how highly he’s rated it’s like getting a free top 30 pick

On one hand, yes. However it’s just plain disappointing that Hill has even taken the bait after last year. That kind of episode should tarnish a club, or at least Dodoro.

Do we need Schlensong if we just picked up TOB? We probably were only looking to add one player in that part of the ground.

I get the sneaking suspicion we have targeted a player or two and that has fallen through. Disappointing. Bevo noted our ruck stocks would look "substantially different" in 2022, and Power mentioned we'd be more active at the trade table this year. So far neither of those things have happened.

Schache also should spend most of the preseason learning the defensive craft. We have no idea what his ceiling and he is an option back there the only area of major concern is ruck.
