If you say so.

More specifically, these posters had excellent form and connections and newbs were calling them full of it.
Pannalstaraoz (sp) was pretty open he got his info from Dalrymple. Think he just doesn’t post as much as Dal moved on and no longer gets the gossip on us. I don’t think he was hounded off this site.

Barrett going with Dunkley going to Port Adelaide.

Their nuff supporters are going to be disappointed with what they have to give up for him.

Don't know why players would want to go to a club that has supporters spit on them after losses

Dunkley, Wines and SPP - the greatest collection of ball butchers ever assembled in the one midfield !!!!

Got to love his reporting, "all signs point to Port being the massive favourites". This on the day the Brisbane rumours come out!

Is this the same Frampton who won the Majak Daw medal in Rd 6 in Ballarat?

Why would they be getting rid of him? WE should be all over him....he's exactly what we need!.............
Sorry for the intrusion but a couple of things. Frampton got found out very quickly after that 1 good game when the opposition directed play through his man, he got slaughtered 1 v 1 and has pretty much had his papers stamped after that. He is a good user of the footy and can intercept mark, but as a defender your 1 wood has to be defending. He didn't make it as a forward and too short for a genuine ruck role. Very good SANFL level player and apparently though he will be at Collingwood next year - maybe as a 3rd man interceptor. When you guys play them next, just put Naughton on him and he'll kick a big back

The other being Sweet- only reason I can see is that the club has really prioritized bringing SA players back and maybe they are looking at moving Strachan on?

Anyways, if you get Jimmy Rowe he is a good little goal sneak and with a better midfield supplying him (which yours undoubtedly is compared to ours right now), he'll go well enough for you guys. I'd rather the club keep Jimmy and trade Murphy and McHenry.

TBH I'd take Strachan. Perhaps not as good in the taps but far better arounds the ground

43 HO's on the weekend, and against the leading Ruck in the comp for HO's (Strachan averaging highest in league per game)

Tap Outs are fine, his endurance his probably his weakest point, but it's really not that bad.

Has come into the senior team a few times and has done well enough to suggest he's good enough for AFL

If the club indeed loses Dunkley you would hope they would rather look to replace himEiither a taller marking midfielder.Like Dow from Carlton or one with burst speed like Griffin and Cooney used to have.l am Sitting on the fence with Lobb as l don't know the strategy or behind the scenes. You would hate another Trengrove situation though where someone's ego got on the way. And we lost Roughhead and didn't play English. Then ruined Trengroves career. He could have been more successful with Norf.Darcy and Jamarra need games. And have faith Bruce comes back bigger and better next year..Fast and crumbing forwards key position back and strong midfielders is where we lack.

We should go hard for Finn Callaghan as a replacement next year

By that description he's a pretty similar type and quality as Sweet. Maybe a straight swap would invigorate either or both?

WESTERN BULLDOGS

Players that could leave

Josh Dunkley
is looming as a big piece of the trade period puzzle as he remains unsigned beyond this year. Port Adelaide is one of the clubs linked to him and could come hard like Essendon did a couple of years ago. Jason Johannisen put off contract talks recently and West Coast showed interest in him back in 2017.

Players that could arrive

Rory Lobb
looks destined to be playing for the Western Bulldogs next season. Another inclusion will likely be Liam Jones, who the AFL will consider an unrestricted free agent and thus provide Carlton with compensation, while the Dogs won’t have to give up anything from a draft perspective.

Who’s already gone

Nil

Draft picks

11, 29, 37 (via North Melbourne), 65, 83

I like this suggestion.

Going into next year our current midfield group will be Libba, 30, Treloar, 30, Macrae 28, Hunter 28, Bont 27, Dunkley 26 and Baz 22.

If Dunkley leaves, we only have 1 established midfielder the right side of 27. Baz looks really isolated on that list.

With so much tall quality coming through it really is prudent list management to identify whatever quality 21-26yo midfield talent we can.

People will say Garcia and West will fill the void, but there are no guarantees they will provide the consistent quality of the above group. We need more depth in the key age group.

That does look a bit barren doesn't, hence why I think Dunkley will stay. We just know we are going to have the most dominant forward line in the history of the game in 3 years time and Robbie kicking it to them :p

Yep we really need to start planning for when naughton Jamarra Darcy hit their primes

Yeah, it's great for the next 2 years or so, but our list managers will be looking further down the track.

When English, Naughts, Jamarra, Cody, Darcy are hitting their peaks in 4-5 years, we will be hard to beat as long as we have quality mids supplying.

Why? Cause he smoked a few cones? Who cares?

It’s much more than that. I would rather have kept Stringer than recruit this particular player

IF you accidentally draft a DH that is a failure of drafting BUT IF you recruit a known one, well that’s a complete failure of the entire Football department.

Strong pass from me.
