I get his not cut from stone but is he really that unfit? Seems to run out games very well to my eye.
I can’t believe his not a back up ruck on an afl list.
In saying that, have you seen how fat Sean Darcy is from Freo? Really fat and quite a good ruckman.

Two ACLs before the age of 18. Never did much in the VFL, averaged something like two marks, one tackle, and one goal.

Hmmm... Along with Curtis Taylor, North Melbourne has now delisted 2 more small forwards in Charlie Lazzaro and Blake Drury. I know picking up a DFA from a cellar dweller can be dangerous, but let's face it - North forwards have not had a huge amount of scoring opportunity over the last few years.

I reckon there would be 3-5 games per season I’d pencil in Crossley to play instead of English.
Any wet contested style game I would pick him over English. Far too often we have seen uncompetitive performances when conditions don’t suit him.

Maybe someone to invite to try the VFL side. His luck could turn around and we do have a need there but on current output doesn’t look near it.

nice skills with good leg speed. Hasn’t got a great tank. Also has some injuries. I doubt we go there.

Who cares what he looks like if he can run out games. His body shape doesn’t seem to be causing injuries etc.
Plus it’s pretty hard for a 25 odd year old bloke that’s not in a professional environment and probably has to work a day job to look as chiseled as a league footballer. Being in a professional environment will help.
Given he was at gc when they were close to there lowest some would say he has never been in a professional environment.
Crossley would be an automatic inclusion against him
He played a very good game against us in the VFL kicked 3 or 4 goals. His pace seemed pretty good too from memory. Could he be a HHF that is a goal threat?

Lazzaro dominates VFL then only gets the sub vest when up to AFL. I wouldn’t be against him on a wing.
