You want to keep persisting with Cordy?

There's a reason we have the Majak Daw Medal on this board. It's for the hack forward that pulls one out against our wafer thin KPDs.

Time for us to shake hands and move on.
Oh so it’s not as a tool to ridicule one of our players under the pretence of being jestful? Always wondered when I visited the thread once.

Really, Jones is 32 and hasn't played for a year so the jury is surely out, Keath was terrible late, Gardner is an average footballers who punches a lot and Khamis has played very little game time, our structures have been terrible and this combined with the personal made us terrible defensively.

Tom Hawkins will be 35 next year. Isaac Smith just won a Norm Smith at 34, Dangerfield is 33 - what's your point?

Jones is a massive upgrade on what we had to endure down back this year.

Because Cordy although he’s not good never has games where he is genuinely shocking. He played in a premiership for a reason. Schache has had his chances and has show he isn’t up to it hence Cordy is getting other offers and Schache isn’t
Schache is about to lock into the dogs for 2 years with a 3rd year option (performance based) Foxman98. Prepare yourself.

Lloyd running with McDonald-Tipungwuti considering coming out of retirement. Bombers keen but Freo leading the race. I was keen a few years and would still be interested now

Would not go anywhere near him, he'd go on an end of season break when he was with the druggies and come back to preseason the size of a house, how big would he be now after a year of eating and drinking and no exercise.

I thought my point was clear, he is 32 and hasn't played in a year so seeing him produce first might be warranted before saying he is going to be part of a defensive group you said was really solid, I agree if fit and firing and should be an upgrade but I think those with him (who you named) don't necessarily form a great defensive unit. I also think comparing him to those players is a little unfair given the positions they play and what the supporter expectation is now going to be on Jones coming to fix the defensive problems we clearly have. But you know what they say opinions are like......A#$eh&^es, everyone has one!

For what it's worth I hope he goes well.

Haven't really commented on the whole Dunkley situation considering the billions of different possibilities considering Ashcroft.

If we can't get two straight first rounders what else could we pick off in addition to a first rounder? Would the eagles be willing to use Pick 20 for Dev Roberton (either solely or as part of the deal).

Pick 15 + Pick 20 + 2023 pick upgrade (lions 2nd for bulldogs 4th).

Early second rounders are extremely valuable considering the two day draft process. Teams could be willing to trade 2023 late firsts if a favourite still remains on the board.

Might not be as sexy as "two first rounders" but it somewhat gets us in the ball park.

With Dunkley, Hunter & Cordy going we’ll be up to 7 of the 2016 flag side finishing their careers at other clubs, compared to 9 retired red, white & blue.

Only Bont, Macrae, Libba, McLean, Johannisen & Daniel remain, so you’d assume the punted pups won’t square the ledger.

Love him or tolerate him, I’m going to spew up in my mouth seeing Zaine in a Saints shirt ….

Kinda looking forward to Naughton or Marra playing on him ….

But it’ll be hard work seeing him in that f reaking shirt of all shirts . It’ll be hard for the Cordy family too, I sat near Brian and Ayce on level 2 once and they were wearing very dapper past player suits with Bulldogs ties cheering their boy on.

FWIW I don't expect him to 'fix' problems, I just expect him to give us a contest. A big body down there. That's all I want.

Cordy was a favourite in our household sad to see him go.

Loved him as a player. I have always said he was a player that could play in any era 60”s 70”s 80’s etc etc

One of the few we had that had that mongrel in them along with some cheek

Go well Zaine
