Have Butters, Houston and SDK been spotted ordering coffees at Barkers yet? Or leaving Chris Grant's house?

Also Jon Patton is only 31. Surprised Cats or Demons haven't been sniffing around him...

Incredible Hawthorn got away with that trade taking taking on Carlton's future second rather than Brisbane's future second. Could easily be a 10+ pick difference between the two.

Let’s hope it ends up being bad deal for him and them.

I expect he won’t look anywhere near as good in the Geelong jumper as he does in our magnificent red white and blue.

Plus revealing himself to a petulant traitor, is not exactly going to enhance his reputation.
Lobbs ok though?

Man it'd be good to fleece another club like all the others do

Not exactly what you're after, but a decent trade period.

Scott Clayton cops a lot of (deserved) stick around here for some of his howlers, but I think the year we got Ben Hudson (2007) Clayton managed to turn most of our picks in every round into an earlier pick.

Traded 22 out for 30 and 35.
Traded McMahon out for 19.
Traded 30 and 38 out for Hudson and 43.
Traded Sam Power(!) out for 48.
Kept 63
Traded 62 out for Callan and 66.

Started trade period with 5, 22, 38, 63 and 67.

Finished trade period with 5, 19, 35, 43, 48, 63, 67. And Hudson and Callan, for McMahon and Power.

(Sadly we only got value out of pick 43 Easton Wood. Callan Ward was 19, but we lost him, while the rest were J.Grant, Sam Reid, Jarrod Boumann and Guy O'Keeffe.)

Note: some discrepancies because traded in picks moved back 1 as Carlton got Kreuzer as a priority pick at #1.

Scott Clayton was the 203cm tall player equivalent of list managers.

Was given 6 more years than he deserved to prove he was a howler at the gig….
