couldn't have gone any better, probably heaps better than i thought.
slide pick 11 to 13 and only lose pick 29.
oh i forgot, we got McKinnon as well.

Going to draft with 13, 43 and 49
2 pick slide still gives us access to that top 15 or so of good players, and then giving up 29 which happy to do for McKinnon. We also get two good players for a 2nd rounder, and get a start of 3rd round back.
3 x players in, all upgrades on our outs, including the overhead marking target that we have been so desperate for, and go to draft to get a top young talented footballer, from a draft that includes talent from other states entering the national draft.

even better is, now that WB have 4 picks, Demons and Pies have 2 picks each before us, they won't all go best available with all their picks.
they'll be some higher ranked girls sliding towards our pick 13.
probably midfielders.
Now that Trade week is done and dusted clubs may need to cut deeper into their lists to get their lists down to 28, with the minimum of 2 picks rule to apply at this Monday's draft.
I believe that we will have to cut 4 more players.

Pretty good effort in the end but Dallaway and Hicks look like fringe players and we didn’t solve our lack of midfield class to help Conti
Reid and cox need to be top of that , I don’t see them improving to the level req
Yes but they look improvements on who they’ll replace. Dallaway plays similar to Greg’s, looks a tad quicker , unsure of disposal eff , still we need more ball winners at the coal face to support Moncon

A late pick maybe or would it be worth bringing her down to Port Melbourne's VFLW team
