Yes Mr BOND 007 - very happy. The team have done a wonderful job (not just this year but I saw a change in 2013 trading/drafting that was even more evident in 2014 and continued well in 2015.
The profile of the squad is becoming clear. Yes we lost 3 good players in the scheme of things yet we improved our squad. I sense we are now starting to regain our position as being a destination club. Vanilla midfield - I don't think so.
My summary: Great to see the emphasis in speed - be it decision making, clean hands, through traffic and outside pace. We added strengths that were not there. Continue to get dual sided players. Priorities are obvious with accuracy of passing. Ability to play multiple positions. Ability to take a turn through the midfield.
Only 1 player/decision I struggle with (oh and no it is not McGinnity) - why Tunbridge was re-listed? I am yet to see any upside of the on-field football IQ required to make it at AFL.
