Personally with picks later in the draft like ours I tend to prefer players with stand out attributes rather than the jack of all trade types. So at this stage I'm hoping we favour the Bonner/Ah Chee/Crocker/Fiorini/Morgan and to a lesser extent Cuningham types over the guys like Gresham/Partington/O'Kearney/Snelling.

How nice would a Tucker or Ah Chee slide be? I can see it happening with either given neither are mids.
Apparently Ah Chee will be well and truly gone, maybe a top tenner.

Kurt Mutimer fits your likes somewhat, check him out.

Alright...A slight nibble.
Cole isn't even Burgoynes arseh*le.

While I'm at it;
Rioli - is shit and is a waste of a pick in the ND, one armed fakes the same direction and the same step back move will get found out very quickly at AFL level.
Cuningham - looks like the ultimate **** tease but when the time comes for the big dance, he won't put out...Can't find the balls naturally.
Glass-McCasker - looks like a great stopper but he has the foot coordination of Hunter S Thompson on an Ether bender.
Cunningham doesn't have much weakness in my opinion averaged 20 possessions in TAC cup plays inside and out uses the ball well can kick 60 metres he knows where the goals are, His numbers were down at the championship because of a lower leg strain. But recruiters go off TAC games as much as the championships he tested very well at the combine and in the big dance in the TAC cup grand final he stood up had a great game you can watch the whole game on youtube if anyone is interested

I still have my doubts that he'll find enough of the pill at the next level.
That being said, he does have some very exciting attributes.

Not arguing the bolded part at all however we're all (us on the forum) are in the same position with our own opinions.
Otherwise there would be no point forming an opinion and discussing it at all. - I don't assume to know, I just go with the relevant data available to myself and form an opinion from there, much like everyone else here.

Besides, read the post again and if can't see it's half tongue in cheek and pulling the mickey out of myself a bit perhaps you need your eyes checked.
Responding to your nibble ;)

For a late pick, what did you think of these guys -
In a nutshell, for late selections, I think the show value for the following reasons;

Kieran Agius
Looks an amazing talent with a big kick, takes the ball at its highest point, reading of play especially forward of centre. (actually reminds me of a young Fyfe in some ways)

James Parsons
Great kick, reasonable turn of speed and vision. Looks to be a footballer.

Lauchlan Tiziani
Very poised, excellent kick, quick thinker.

Mitchell Cox
A lot of similarities with Cuningham for mine. (So a lot to like)

Mabor Chol
(Very rough diamond but I think could be a brilliant swingman, )

Look I know we disagree on some dislikes, and it's purely opinion based so no need for a heated discussion, I respect your opinion, I just disagree with some things you say, but don't take that as negativity, just my own opinion.

I do, however, agree with your likes. Big fan of Lovell, and strongly considered him with my first pick. Extremely classy and talented. Could potentially last to our second and would be stoked with that. Agree on Agius, it's pretty much just his attitude holding him back. If he could put it together could be an amazing player. Well worth the risk with a late pick. Parsons looks to be a great pick, and the rest I'd be quite interested in with a late pick and could prove to be something special.

I gotta say I'm not really bothered with this years draft, not like any of them will ever play and really without injuries players like Barrass will be struggling to get games under his belt so what hope does it give skinny 18 year old kids ? none that's what.

You don't think any of the 2015 draftees players will ever play? Want to make a bet?

Also, why are you such a sad emo all the time?

wouldnt be surprised if barrass got a few games next season. he played really well most games he played but he lacked a lot of size and when playing negating role it counts a lot. His asset is intercepting the play and being the extra man in and it would have suited him better if he played alongside gov and schoey, however, gov does what he does and is better. If Barrass puts 5-6kgs in the preseason, i wouldnt be surprised if he is brought in for injuries (especially if simmo sees gov as a forward). If Gov plays as a forward next year, then i prefer Barrass in the side over Brown as we dont have a gun intercepting key position player that takes good contested grabs.

Barrass would also benefit by not having to pick up the key defenders as was his lot this season. A more reasonable development path should see him flourish.(I hope)

exactly. He isnt a lock down defender (Tho it will improve as he gets bigger and older) and isnt suited to play on The guns like Tex and monster forwards like Jenkins. I know it wont happen but i like Emac, Schoefield, Barrass combo than than the Emac, brown, schoey combo. Emac takes the number one forward, while schoey takes number two forward/ dangerous mid sized forward/small forward if needed, while Barrass takes third forward/resting ruckmen and playas the intercept player and help out emac and schoey. I like Brown and i did have him in our 22 but after seing barrass this year, i rekon the kids got alot of potential and when he is ready for AFL(hopefully doesnt take long), he shouldnt be stuck at WAFL.

Surely you draft for the future?

The list provided has its merits and I'm not arguing against the majority of those players however I'd have Partington way above O'Kearney, similar types in style but if this was a make your own AFL player, Partington would have 7&8's across nearly all boxes, O'Kearney is 5&6's.

Gresham is pretty kick arse for mine as is Lovell.

Yeah for sure, I was playing it fast and loose with the grouping of players. Was just grouping them by type, rather than ability. I'd like Partington for maybe our second pick, I'd probably rookie O'Kearney.

Look, what ever weird sexual thing you'd do with O'Kearney is your own business but I'd say our later picks are where you take the risks not the vanilla options.

Half them don't get a game and the another 1/4 play under 10 games. We have a half decent list and some top notch recruits from last year who will struggle to get regular game time, unless the draftee is Judd/Cousinesque ( which lets face it this crop is crap ) we are picking from a high base and hence my previous statement. I know a fair few on here just disagree with anything anyone says because they are that type but I stick by my call that this year is meh ! for us. I would be more excited if we had a top 12 pick but we haven't so meh!.

My question is...How can you pass judgement without watching either the videos provided or the players live?

Doesn't matter is what I am saying, if there is a stand out player I'm betting a scout has more skills in determining a players ability and they would go before pick 23 I'm sure. Yes we could jag a sleeper but its unlikely any flog in here would be able to identify them.
