I think it's more to do with the evolution of tall midfielders than anything else. Look at 2 of the best CHFs I've seen play the game, Carey was 192cm, Brereton was 186cm. It should be about your presence, the way you use your body, working to your strengths and your team mates knowing your strengths and delivering to that, not your height.

well it doesnt say GWS are or are not going to match, and secondly it doesnt matter if they dont, it only matters what our recruiting think of him.

We have no say other than to hope we get the best player.

Draft watchers and media I guess but like I said it's a miss conception. If he was 194 from the start then people wouldn't even be debating if he is a 3rd tall or not and that's stupid

He played a bit of defense in the champs and I think he could be a decent key defender if he fills out. He has the smarts, height and skill by foot.
