Callum Sinclair plays full forward for the first time in years and has 5.3 to three quarter time. Sam Reid in 114 games, mostly up forward has bettered that only twice.

I'm not totally against Reid but little comparisons like that make me nervous at the prospect of picking him up. He's a standard key forward and is highly unlikely to be any better.

Reid will gets worse as he becomes more injury prone the older he gets

Yeah I raised Ben Brown a while back as a key forward I'd love to get as he's just entering his prime and should only get better or at least hold his current output for many seasons to come.

It's a pity the club didn't look to trade for a pick in the range he was expected to go in his draft year.

Both Knightmare and Snoop Dog identified him as a draft target suitable for our needs at the time.

It would take a large contract to get him to break his current one and even then North would be against it and likely force him to fulfill his obligations.

Are Adelaide the best side at picking KPP talent? Keath comes in for his first game and looks more composed than half of our backline.

Was a highly rated junior so Hadley surprising he showed a bit when given an opportunity. Ravens just got lucky that he'd moved to SA to try and reignite his cricket career and they swooped when he missed out on a SACA contract so opted to return to footy. Pretty handy Cat B rookie.

Will be interesting to see how many go when they have to pay for it? It will be financially viable but when will it get to the point that it's a proper home and away competition over the winter?

Doubt the AFL will charge for entry for quite some time.

We had one in the vicinity of where he was taken, though. Pick 44.

It was traded. For Jesse White.

Oops...

I think I remember TD being high on Brown in his draft year back in 2010 or 2011. He should be filthy with Hine

I wasn't active back then, so I'll take your word for it. But I saw a fair bit of him playing overage for Werribee in the VFL in 2012 and 2013. I remember wanting him back then. I'll join Dave in giving Dekka the dirty eye next time I see him...

Interesting to read the feedback on Keath on here. Great job to play both first class cricket and AFL but I can only imagine what the response would be if McClarty came in for his first game and had 4-5 kicked on him.

Ease up! There was one positive comment attributed to his game from Campbell and by his own admission it was made when he'd had just the two kicked on him. The other comments were to talk up the Crows program, that we were into him and how they landed him.

Things are never as good or bad as they appear so people might surprise you if that happens with McLarty.

I wouldn't mind. Even the best defenders get 5 kicked on them. If McLarty showed some signs and got some goals kicked on him so be it, they all have to start somewhere.

You would hope not with Pittard a FA, but even then Pittard is well off the boil so I'd probably look for better value such as Savage and hold Shaz!
That's right. I forgot Pittard was a FA. I'd prefer to hold onto Schaz too.

Always thought that Langdon would look good in a saints jumper. I'd be happy to do it for Savage given that Savage has spent more time in the VFL this year.

That's a very provocative POV that's bound to get certain tongues wagging.

There is a connection with him playing for the Zebs in 2013, but they do already have Roberton who makes Clangdon look below VFL standard so I don't see it myself.

Would you look to make the trade straight up? Because I think we'd need to give extra.

FWIW GC look a good candidate if Clangdon goes out. His hair and laid back attitude would fit the Coast to a tee and they're in need of a floating third defender that's good in the air, IMO.

I think I will back history against the idea that some posters having a cathartic process they go through to see finally see the positive in anything. You should read the game day thread somtime.

As to Keath nothing but admiration from my end to get to those levels across two sports. My comments are attributed to some posters on here not campbell023 who is one of the more measured posters on here.

That's just a generalisation then based on specious reasoning because you're casting aspersions on the collective without there ever really being a possibility it comes to fruition.

I was only really highlighting that your post was an extreme reaction to one positive post. From my perspective I would have been far more impressed if you'd acknowledged that it might have been OTT rather than digging your heels in.

That's terrible justification for your post. One poster exhibited the behaviour you referred to and then you state he isn't like that in general? I mean you are literally saying you got on your soapbox over nothing. Extremely reactionary at best inflammatory at worst, IMO.

Interesting, when did you start having these thoughts about Langdon?
Was it when he grew his hair long and in the same dress as the ST Kilda school girl?

LOL. The only person with an extreme reaction is you. My post was stating the obvious. Seriously, if you can't accept the bagging one of ours would have got on here for a similar performance then you lack comprehension or, for whatever reason, trying to defend the indefensible.

The bagging Moore gets on here when he has kicked more goals than any key position player under 22 in the league, is just one example. I will leave you to your mock indignation of 'asperations' on posters by my 'damning' original post :thumbsu:

Look if you're going to have a crack I think it's very important to get the quote correct. Aspersions and aspirations have very different meanings!

I'd have preferred you didn't exhibit the behaviour you're potting (OTT reactions to little evidence), but I think my point was lost in the bluntness of my post so whatever, enjoy :thumbsu:
