I think it's pretty conceivable that if Hine doesn't rate the talls in this draft particularly high, that the pies will trade their pick 4-6 to the Giants for a ready made player/s like Smith....

Like in previous years Giants continually need to keep trading players out to clear salary cap space so as to retain their A graders (think Kelly)

I would do Smith and Hopper for pick 6-7.
Basically only because with the inclusion of those 2 players, we would PROBABLY have to trade out some midfielders.

Eg: Sidebottom.

That would still allow us a pick in the top 15.

I would do this trade if we could find a way back into the first round. I really like Oscar Allen who is touted as going around pick 18-20. I would prefer we deal our first rounder(currently 6) + steak knives for their first rounder (currently 16) + Hopper. Then we can hopefully grab Oscar and then do a seperate trade for smith.
