I’m looking forward to seeing how Quaynor and Kelly go, but “taking care of the future” seems a stretch for a half-back and a KP prospect ranked on the fringes of the top 25. I know key defenders can sometimes get picked up later and be successful, but it’s far from a fait accompli.

It's crazy that Ned has only been on Trade Radio for 2 or 3 sentences last Monday, and otherwise we haven't heard him talk. I'm actually genuinely curious as to how he presents himself! Maybe he just sits at the trade table and stares at the other team to see who blinks first? Literally?

Maybe he gets paid to manage our list... not talk crap on radio..

If Brissy offers us three first rounders back along with Beams I’d take it.

Unfortunately it isn’t the Freo of the turn of the century we’re dealing with.

McLarty is in a precarious situation. It looks like we will bring in Roughead and Kelly on top of Keane and Tohill. We have some room to add additional key position players and maintain list balance but adding four might be overcooking it. We also need list spaces to accomodate the required 3 ND selections. Lynch may be vulnerable too. FWIW I'd hate to see us delist McLarty and hope i'm reading it wrong!

Madgen would be the third cat b rookie under that scenario. I think she means 2 live rookie picks.

Lynch is signed for next year, but he will need to show further development to continue beyond 2019. Like Ceglar McLarty was played out of position this season, but unlike Ceglar it wasn't due to greater VFL depth. I understand giving him ruck minutes to develop that area of his game however he would have played 40-60% ruck this year. Should have been played more deep at either end.
