A guy who has a YouTube channel said so, so it must be true.

How people are Reacting to it you would think it's True.

Actually Jen2310 was the 1st Person to say anything about this Suppose Trade

Firstly, can’t think of anyone readily comes to mind (barring maybe Rance or a freshly retired player from this year) but anyone spring to mind trying to talk out of retirement to play a year (like Tim Watson, Stuart Dew)? Is it even worth trying at all?

I hear Beams is available

Imo no more taking punts on players like 2mp or schache or what ever, we missed out on the big fish in Cameron this year so now we go to the draft

I am sick and tired of wasting decent draft picks on sh*t, decisions in the past have set us back and hurt us, lets not do it again

As many posters have pointed out, drafting KPF is not what its cracked up to be - failure rate is very high.

Collingwood superstar Jordan De Goey is set to re-sign with the Magpies for two more years.
The Magpies are close to finalising a deal that will tie the matchwinner to the club until the end of 2022 when he will become a free agent.

The agreement was on track to be completed this week following drawn-out talks throughout the season on De Goey’s future.

But Gold Coast has not yet closed the door on a longshot trade with the Magpies for jet midfielder Adam Treloar for next season.

The Suns remain interested in Treloar, whose partner Kimmy Ravaillion is headed to Queensland to play netball. They have a young child.

Gold Coast could give Collingwood pick No. 5 for Treloar in a move that would pair young star Matt Rowell with last year’s leading disposal winner.

But Treloar is not keen to switch clubs even though the Suns want to contend for the club’s first finals berth in 11 years next season.

Collingwood was always keen to re-sign De Goey, 24, but will pay less than the $1 million a season the goal kicker wanted to switch clubs.

His signature is a significant coup for the club on top of significant deals for gun backman Darcy Moore, brilliant captain Scott Pendlebury, up-and-comer Josh Daicos and star ruckman Brodie Grundy.

Rival clubs have recently accepted De Goey, who is facing an indecent assault charge over an alleged incident in 2015, will stay at Collingwood.

Treloar’s move would ease some of the pressure on the Pies’ tight salary cap.

Tom Phillips and Mason Cox are also set to attract interest over the next few weeks with Sydney Swans desperately chasing a new ruckman.

Not true.. Someone else mentioned it in here before I did.

Let me find it.

Anyone else hearing we’re into Schache and Bailey Dale?

Yeah but I reckon Gunston's no chance. Just won their B&F, he'll cost a lot. We'll only be able to afford 1 of Brayshaw or Gunston, especially so if we're not losing Treloar or De Goey

I'd be pretty happy if we can:

Retain: Treloar, De Goey, Checkers
Lose: Phillips, WHE
Gain: Wright, Brayshaw

Sidey can play as a small forward, Stevo hopefully returns to past form, Kelly/Ruscoe get games and continue to improve

Don’t write off Sier

It was reported in the papers about 6 weeks ago that Cyril was considering a comeback. Have no idea how old he is or what shape he is in

And as I pointed out to that poster you can’t just stop drafting them completely.

Agree - but not with high picks, and probably by trading in guys who haven’t lived up to their potential, but at least gained size and experience at their first club.
It’s a cheaper and safer approach.
That analysis a few days ago was telling of how high the failure rate was.

But that’s what we have done taken talls with late picks and it hasn’t worked

As long as Schache isn’t that guy I’m all in

Lol, the bombers are attracting interest because they’re offering insane amounts of money. Absolutely no other reason. $500-600k for Caldwell ffs..... the Glasshouse would be burned down if we offered that kind of money to unproven talent.
As opposed to 400k for Mayne, Greenwood or wells?

You hit the nail on the head, every time Martin touches the ball he is clean and his decision making is out of this world, that's where DeGoey has to get to
Martin is 5 yrs older than JDG and if JDG takes a big step next year, it’s about the same age as Martin was when he did. Maybe the penny will drop for JDG and he’ll apply himself the same.
