That's 6 changes that doesn't need any aggressive trading but will cover us off for the future with mcinnes murphy and kelly all getting proper game time.

Personally if we were to get aggressive we would look to move on Elliot or WHE and bring in a proper pressure dangerous small fwd, tippa from Essendon would be my ideal target Or go flat out and trade for LDU from North Melbourne.

I would trade: Phillips Sier
De-list: Wills Appley Tohill Atu

Look to build some depth through some smart pick ups and go from there.

Wilson & Tohill will be the 2 Cat B rookies

I am. See that’s the thing, they’re not better, but they all play their roles.
Castagna, Rioli, Lambert aren’t amazing footballers. Bolton has talent most definitely.
JRoo is 32. Lynch is their star.

There’s no reason that a forward line consisting of Elliott, JDG, Stephenson, Sidebottom and Mihocek plus another tall that we could recruit can’t replicate what Richmond do. The issue is that we don’t have a system that allows for a forward line to function altogether.

See Lynch gets all the plaudits. Lambert does the hard stuff every week for no reward. Castagna/Rioli/Aarts may go weeks without kicking goals but they play the system so keep their spot. JRoo plays a lesser role but does what is required of him. Bolton is a star in the making up in the midfield but he’s a live wire up forward. The issue I see with our team is I can’t see Stepho or Sidebottom taking a lesser role to benefit the team. JDG needs to be our star but needs to find consistency. Elliott when he doesn’t have the footy isn’t doing a lot for us. Mihocek can play the JRoo role but we need a guy to fill the Lynch void. Doesn’t have to be to his caliber because we won’t find that, however our other general forwards are better than Richmond’s. But as I said, are the players willing to take lesser roles to benefit the team or will we continue to play selfish Collingwood football?

You can’t compare the Cox Mihocek combo to Riewoldt and Lynch. Your summation also leaves out Martin who spends a lot of time forward. They have top end talent and then have role players around them. We don’t have elite talent in the forward line

I recommend just chilling out No point in getting too invested. Write some posts, ask questions etc. about what you want to say or know about, and everything will work out alright!
