If reports are true, and Wright is on 600k, that’s a lot of money to be spending on top of Cox next year who’s apparently close to 550k....

unless we can maybe trade cox to a club who want a ruck for 2 years, I can’t see us having money for wright.

Wrights contract can be renegotiated if he’s keen enough, like we did with Beams and the Hawks did with Patton, or GC might be willing to pay some if they want him off the books. There are always ways around these things.

I could see Polec pushing out Noble maybe, but considering his pricetag, age and the fact that he's looking to join his 4th club despite only turning 28 in a month I'd be very hesitant.


Maybe if they were able to move Polec on? I don't know enough about their needs (not even sure their list management does), but Phillips and Polec are likely too samey

I’m with you on this. I think we have enough talent to switch to the wing when we get the fab 4 back. Polec is not a need in my view. def not with his contract and salary which we’d have to pick up. No thanks

Those players on the bench are not on 700k salary. no thanks. North aren’t going to cover much, and his contract till end of 2023. If he was out of contract no issues, but I’m not interested simply because he’s not, and they’ve paid overs for him

For starters he’s a better player than all them.

Secondly it’s one of Greenwood and Sier and one of Noble and one of Madgen/Langdon and Noble.

We’re not going on the bench with two inside mids and two defenders.

That would be my hope. Unsure of the likelihood, but it would be quite handy for him to supplant WHE, Thomas and Phillips. If he was gettable for similar $ to Phillips it'd be great
