I don't particularly want Jenkins but if he's costing any more than 1 of Dave's packets of twisties then we're overpaying.

Rumour was he was entering a heavily discounted back end of his contract at the Bears. Even heavily discounted it's hard to imagine that wouldn't be north of $600k. He then apparently agreed to reduce that even further when he came to the Pies for the added security of an additional year. He may well now be on something south of $500k but I doubt it'd be by much if it is.

Jackcass the truth is I don't care what our players earn, that's for smarter people than me at our Club to figure out…….but I do believe the poster here when they said Beams wasn't on much.

In all seriousness Aiden Bonar from GWS PICK 11 is gettable.....Gws like us need salary cap relief.Big bodied midfielder hug upside but has been cruelled with injuries.Would be a good get GWS want pick 30-40 range.Would work well with Sier,Bonar and Wills all big bodied midfielders
Will help Adams and gives us big bodied depth plus releases Pendles,Sidey,Treloar and dont forget the GOO.

Sticking point is his contract maybe we can stagger over a few years.....Lets face it if Sharenberg goes and a few more list cloggers go like crocker we will be very quiet in this trade period.Maybe Bonar,Darcy Cameron,Laird and Jenkins or Dixon that will be it all will unfold next week. These players will not be on huge dollars if contracts are staggered.Really dont listen to all the ex footy players who pretend to be astute journos spinning rubbish They have no clue what our salary cap is outside the inner sanctum no else does How long has it been since the pies signed a huge fish long time and i am not talking Adams or Treloar

Charlie Dixon is a player I've long thought would be ideal for us, imo would thrive with our style of play. That said, rumours of "x" player touring the Holden Centre, I mean half the AFL playerbase has if you believe everything that is posted online.
