Mumford wouldn't warrant B. Reid in a straight swap. An already declining ruckman for a young CHB who's previously been AA. Saying that, if it were somehow possible, grabbing Reid would ensure our Backline for 5+ years.

That to me is a totally ridiculous comment. And if you are talking injuries...Mumfords recent is not a body issue?? BTW Ben Reid aint been no ball of health lately. Had you not been watching Mummy prior to the cheeckbone, certainly no declining ruckman there.

Mumfords recent injury, as someone sated before is nothing more than a freak injury. I think it's essential i retract my comment, as although it's my belief..it's been seen as outlandish by a few fellow Swans supporters, meaning i must be a little of the ball ;) Although, you can't disagree that he has had a poor season, with the exclusion of 2-3 weeks prior to the Adelaide game.

Saying that, i do still believe Mumford wouldn't warrant B. Reid in a straight swap.

true but ben mcglyn and mitch morton need support for crumbing.what about lewis taylor,or billy hartung?thoughts?

I think they're the least of our worries with Membrey, Lamb and even Cunningham capable of playing that role. KPD's would definetily be our main target.

Another promising player in Perris, for next to nothing ;)

Anyone aware of L. Parkers current contract sitaution? I thought they would of sighned him up by now.

If Mumford got offered more money there I'd be keen on a trade to get pick 1 but it wouldn't involve Grundy we are already short of KPDs

hey all im saying is a 170 to 177cm kind of small foward crumber.membreys a med, cunninghams starting to play defensive but as for lamb he seems to have became a half forward push to mid bloke so lewis taylor wouldnt be bad.
p.s if another club wants perris we have to bid it's one of the rules

I see your point, i agree..we are lacking a few small speedy, forwards.

yeah! i saw hartung in the championships today and BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!
that kid can run and im pretty sure he's a small size.do u think perris will get picked up from the swans?(some idiot in another blog said the bulldogs!)

I'm thinking Kelly from what I've seen the guy doesn't stop running! Being from SA I'd like to see Aish or Scharenberg on our list.

I imagine with all the effort the swans have put into him, they'll make sure they acquire him. What ever means necessarily, i'd be extremely surprised if he didn't end up at the Swans next year.

If Mumford, indeed wanted to go. Our best option would be trading him to GWS in hope of the compensation pick they activated (10-13?). I'm unaware of Michael Gibbons, so i can't really comment there.
