It may appear so, but I find Gibbs has more value as someone to poke fun at than cheer for.

Also, a goddamn Carlton player.
And we saw how that turned out with Allan, Murphy, and Camporeale.

Besides a back up ruckman, I'm not sure what else we need atm. Yes at the end of next season we will have a spot that will need to be filled, but now, im not sure. Don't think we need Gibbs.

Allan was alright. And Jobe credited Campo when he won the Brownlow, so that's something.

**** Justin Murphy. Something Essendon and Geelong fans can agree on.

Just re-listened to what Hird had to say on Trade Radio. My summary:

- want Gumbleton, but at this stage not willing to offer an extra year.
- happy for Monfries to go if he isn't willing to take what is offered.
- Reimers, happy for him to go, haven't spoken to him yet, when they have offered contracts to most others already.
- Froggy Davey, want him to stay
- Hille, want him to stay
- Dyson, not fussed
- NLM, required player, will stay
- Slattery, seeya later.

Are we back to Savage? Trying to think, there are a few I wouldn't mind from Hawthorn, but probably wouldn't trade Hooker for, for structural reasons. A redundant point though, I imagine.

I think people are getting confused when he says "other opportunites". It could well be footy, but I doubt it. I doubt there's a lot (to be fair, any) interest in him. He is a very intelligent man Henry, I'm sure he has many non-football options.
