No, I’m just disappointed
I'm wary of being the high bidder for Sylvia. Bound to overpay for a guy who has been the 2nd best mid on a poor team for most of his career. And I think he may compound some of the pace problems we have.
Another example of how good this kid is and could be, hard to stand out when you are getting flogged by 120pts.

We just assumed that because he has a cousin at Hawthorn, and because he barracked for Hawthorn as a kid, that he would demand a trade to us!

Ben Griffiths is one guy we should certainly look at bringing in, is an ideal long term replacement for Lake. Another guy we should consider is Luke Thompson from Adelaide, is 194cm and 90kgs, struggled to get a game this season but is from Victoria and would be ideal to fill the Gibbo role, played some great footy in 2012.
A player I woulb be moving heaven and earth for would be Tom Sheridan from the Dockers, was their first round pick from 2011, played a few games last year and played a handful this season. Racks up plenty of footy, will be a top line midfielder and has some solid pace with a strong frame ( 187cm 83kgs). In my opinon much better than Caddy. He's a Victorian, notoriously the Vic boys struggle in WA, I'd be shocked if the club wasn't already into his manager and being the end of his 2nd year I don't know if he has signed an extension? anyone confirm?

Can't confirm but the freo forums would suggest that Tom Sheridan has signed on.

I like Sheridan but really don't rate Griffiths, has too many limitations as a footballer. Thompson looks ok and would prefer him over Griffiths but I don't know if he can become a solid enough KPD.

Is Griffith anymore limited than Lachy Keefe? I wouldn't have thought so and Keefe seems to be doing a serviceable job, I think with the right development there is plenty to work with.
Thompson would be great if we whacked on abother 6-7kgs, he is very quick and mobile but would struggle on the Clokes and Riewoldts and Hawkins types, probably the perfect match up for a Sam Reid/Jeremy Howe type forwards.
Jack Hutchins a key defender from the Gold Coast contract expires this year, he's a Victorian kid and has played some promising footy, if you remember he manned Buddy and probably played his best game of his career against him. Would be a great pick up and one we should look at, he's the kid with the dreadys! With the GC stocks in key defense overloaded he may be looking at opportunities elsewhere, I'd love him.

I would be sniffing around the airport for the backlash at the end of the year when a few Bombers decide to walk out.I like the pace of Travis Colyer and he is out of contract.He would be a punt but as Sydney did with Josh Kennedy,i think he could repay us ten fold.
