Shit rag….hope you don’t pay for that garbage

The irony of the herald scum rejoicing in scahendreude…when they can’t giveaway their paper for free…only the toothless with Hapsburg jaws still buy that shite

We will be back…HS won’t

End of rant….
I thought it was pretty funny. We've had our ride its time to line up again.

I did watch it..and you still haven’t answered the question of why we would be auditioning him. Obviously we are seriously considering him, and that was also backed by Twomey. He said he has to be a leading front runner given we are playing him in our VFL side.
He just likes the look of Langford.

At this stage no one really knows which way we are leaning, it’s all speculation. But we can only base it what Richmond is currently doing and watching games.

Given that pick 1 this year looks a big gamble, I’m more interested in how we acquire multiple first rounders this year and who we select at 8/11/16/21 etc.

Also looking forward to FOS vs Jagga tomorrow.
We are auditioning him because we can. You don't just interview one candidate for a job. Doesn't mean he is going to get it. It also might be part of the mind games that go on between clubs come trade and draft period.

Still think Draper is the best player with the biggest potential. For people who watch him who would you compare him to as a player.

In term of play style I see Matt Rowell lite. A smoother mover but similar commitment to inside the contest.

Don’t take that to say he’ll be as good as Rowell.

Does he eat grass?

Thanks for this, and interesting interviews, Langford a tiger supporter and Lalor the Pies, they both speak well and analyse their game, Langford for me has the attributes we need 190cm midfielder who can play anywhere and with high footy IQ, Lalor another good player but while he has speed still needs to build his endurance.

Fos, lalor, Draper ,Langford are my picks
Draper will go to the crows at 4 if we don't take him at1
Assuming we go Fos at 1 I'm hoping Langford or
Lalor are there with our next pick (Bolton)
I find it impossible to split the four of these but believe it will come down to team balance, midfielder first, tall forward, tall winger and small forward for team balance

Reckon Smilie will get found out against men tbh. Uses his superior strength against kids to break tackles rather than a combo of strength and burst speed that Green and Cripps have from stoppage. Could add it to his game later on, don't reckon he'd be a total bust but would be a huge risk at 1.

I reckon this idea of thinking is usually the exception to the rule. The physical dominant kids at lower levels usually translate to being physical dominate in the AFL. Dusty, Harley Reid etc. They're physical anamolies

The only time I worry about a juniors having an advantage with size would be the key forwards that develop earlier and have 10-20kg on their beanpole opponents. John Butcher rings a bell

Agree. Smillie can absolutely don't argue a fully grown man straight into the ground like Dusty and Reid. It's his poor overhead ability and recent lack of workrate that are my main knocks. Not sure how easy the first is to fix once he's in a full time AFL environment.

Travaglia has 14 disposals and 4 tackles close to full time for the blues VFL side.
That's the sort of game you expect from an under 18. Smith is an absolute magnet and Draper been exceptional too.

I apologise to Sir_Rancelot for my name by the way. I adopted it without realising at the time it was taken but have been unable to amend..

Yeah but they all have weapons beyond just being substantially bigger than their peers. Could Smilie break a tag if the tagger was the same weight as him and probably faster?
