Only thing we should be looking at is off loading some players for picks who won't be part of what we're building towards i.e Hale. Recruiting from other clubs should be only too rookie a kid or two if they've been delisted and we think there could be massive upside to them.
Anyone who's suggested we bring in 25 yr olds + is an absolute flog.

There's always room for the right 25 year old player. If we constantly top up with 18 year olds then we will keep pushing our premiership window back. I think the next year or two is a good time to pick up some mid 20's players if the right ones come along. I don't think Notte fits in to that category, we have enough KPP developing on the list already. We have Petrie to return with Delaney, Tarrant, Daw, Black, O'Keefe and possibly Kennedy all developing nicely. I'd be surprised if we used any of our top 2 or 3 draft picks on 192 cm plus players in the upcoming draft.

I think he's a fall back if G.Ablett doesn't go to the GC, probably get 2 1st rounders for Edwards, as he's a proven goal kicker and has of course kicked over 100 goals in a season for the Eagles.

The AFL Draft Combine runs from the 28th Sep - 1st October.

About 90% positive that Monday week (4th October is the start of trade week).

As is to be expected really. The list is pretty healthy for where we are at. Hale is the only guy in the older bracket that we don't really need to keep that has any trade value.

Any feedback on the prospective value of Hale on the market?
