Just read that update too. They were in Mitch Brown's ear two years ago, nothing has changed to suggest they don't want him any more. Would be happy to part with him for not much especially if his GF is now playing in Melbourne.

In reality though Vardy might have more of an upside, is much younger, and realistically we're going to only part with a trash draft pick for him.

Haven't heard anything about other clubs being interested in Waterman the Third. Might get away with a very late pick on him.
But yes, a Mitch Brown FA acquisition would be something I suspect we wouldn't oppose.
