I think he's saying we will try to trade our first rounder(15) with another player(Foley, Morton, Connors etc) to get a top 10 pick.

(Can only see its benefit if it's for like pick 5 or 7 IMO.)

Or we trade our first rounder to another club for a young player. Then I think we're offering our second rounder to a Vic club for a midfielder.

Thanks mate. Was a bit confused in what we are giving up for Kane Lucas. I really like Lucas as a prospect. I think we could come out of trade week very happy.

dt007 you should make a list somewhere of the things you have a word on so we can check it after. would be interesting to see how close you are with some of your predictions without having to trawl through these threads to find them.

I posted a couple of years ago that Essendon made a huge offer to Davey from the Dee's, then it was confirmed a week later, last year everybody posted that how can I say that houli signed a heads of agreement and that I was talking crap and that Hird had convinced him to stay only for me to repost that I will stick with what I posted earlier that Houli will be a tiger. Then it was revealed he had in fact actually signed a heads of agreement.

This year I posted S Morris signed a heads of agreement & a week later we have done a deal with GWS.

Not all come of but I can assure you I don't sit there all day dreaming about this stuff, if my imagination was this good, I wouldnt waste it on BF, I'd actually employ a publisher and write novels, that way the editor would correct my spelling and punctuation , I know it's crap but it the best I can do when on the run all the time.

I have not got time to drag up all my posts but my detractors don't go and produce what I post that's incorrect like that do when taking pot shots at other posters. Jealously is a Curse unfortunately there's alot of em on BF.

Just not sure about our need for bower. Has potential but our backs are looking good. Lucas would be good off of a half forward flank and in the midfield rotation. This trade period has potential to be entertaining.

Yer agreed. Dont give up first rounders for a young midfielder unless he's a gun. Can just get one in the draft.

With pick 15 in a week draft Lucas is probably a good bet. Not that I've watched him much since going to Carlton but he was a quality kid.

I wish I had that power but I just hear my info from people very very very close to recruiters and managers.

And by the way last year I had L MacGaune gone to, but he was on to good a contract and no one wanted him, a certain poster kept saying he knew LM closely and he just laughed at my rumours, I bet he's found out this year that he was shopped around and told this year wen his contract was up that he was going to be cut or traded or offerred a hugely discounted contract.

His contract is up I'm pretty sure so it's either a tiger or he'll be on traded to the west to freo or WC, WC are front runners.

Yeah. Tiger Sanctuary Contracts thread says McGuane was re-contracted in 2010 for two more years, until end of 2012. Anyone able to 100% confirm?

not having a go at you mate just thought it would be interesting to see all the things you had some info about and what did or nearly came true in the end.

This seems to be a summary of What Deepthroat is saying:

* Kane Lucas to Richmond for our 2nd round draft pick or maybe a player

* Ivan Maric to Richmond for a 3rd round draft pick (probably our own)

* GWS pre listed player to Richmond (maybe Luke Brown) for Matthew White

* An unknown 20-23 year old player from another club in a deal that will include our first round pick plus add on's.
