Just heard news that GWS are planning to strike a deal with 2 other clubs to gain O'Meara for themselves. We could use this to our advantage.
GWS give Richmond Jaeger O'Meara, pick 31 and Luke Brown.
Richmond give Adelaide pick 31 and Jaeger O'Meara.
Adelaide give Richmond Ivan Maric and give GWS O'Meara.
Richmond ask for Luke Brown (who we have been linked with) instead of a pick so Adelaide do not then demand that pick for Maric. Adelaide get a better deal for Maric and GWS get to keep O'Meara.

It does sound like it would be a good deal if it were to happen
No doubt these clubs are asking for more though. Our deal would be cheap for GWS, and we could even throw in our third rounder to keep the crows happy
If I was a team involved in that trade, the second O'meara lands on us I'd run and claim ignorance!

Yeah I do think the crows personally will see the other potential deal as better.
Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
BTW lions don't have any interest in McGuane apparently
There's no guarantee GWS will finish last next year, and they wouldn't want to go into their first season knowing that they have to finish last to get him
Do GWS have to use up the 4 mini draft picks over the next 2 years? Or can they just leave them alone?
We give them Foley and Connors they give us first two picks in the mini draft. we pick O'Meara and Crouch. At first opportunity we trade O'Meara to GWS for their first pick.

All year they've been telling their players... "You'd much prefer to stay with us and play for Premierships than move to another club for the money". Then they go and lose the unlosable

I was making an example of a possible trade if you read my post, it stated IM will be official by lunchtime tomorrow.
Don't post if u bag something that was not the intended meaning of the post. I Maric will be a tiger tomorrow and the Tigers could have another deal done then 2, if the other deal is done to help that deal to get over the line, I don't know. It could be a completely different deal with nothing to do with I Maric.
Oh by the way Kyusss don't PM me asking for private information that I might have, just bag me in public instead
