Apparently Young had a tour of the Pies facilities.. I don't get it, he was offered a contract from the Hawks so why is he shopping him self round if the rumours are to be found true?

It's Clarko's fault that other players are willing to take less money to stay together but Young is chasing money at Collingwood after proclaiming his love of Hawthorn and his need to repay the faith just 3 weeks ago? Fair enough, damn you Clarko for making Young write that opinion piece about re-signing with us.

Let's not turn this into a Young hate thing. It'd be just like the Gunston situation and do you remember how stupid Adelaide fans looked (and still look) after that?
Anyone who is asked for an interview during the season is going to say "I love the club, want to be a one club player, repay the faith shown in me through injuries, bad form etc."
If he leaves I will treat Youngy the same way I treat JPK or Browny. I'll respect their decision and trust that I don't know the whole story. And I'll cheer for him when he isn't playing us.
Not that I think hawk fans will get angry. We seem far more forgiving. See how our fans treat players that ask to be traded or leave the club. Or look at the genuine cheers that Schoey gets when he does well on the field. No hate and always (well mostly, there's always a peanut or two in your bay) support.
