I know that the talk/rumour was that Chom would be training as a defender, but he appears to be doing a lot of set shot training if is the case
Good. I think he could be a very useful CHB but I think his skillset - leaving aside the spray and pray goalkicking at times - is tailor made for the modern big forward. If he goes well on the backline he'd be a great asset. If he goes well on the forward line we are a different team. IMO.

BTW Wardlaw cracks me up. Comes across as a bit of dag that DNGAF what he looks like, clothes he wears or any of that crap. Wants to maul players and win games of football. Just old school competitor in the body of a cheetah and some serious tricks.

I really really really hope Chom makes it as a key forward (desperately so in fact), but watching the replay of the round 2 match against Freo the other day he was a liability…

Wonder what the LDU issue is. We have absolutely no need for him to add forward craft to his arsenal. We could make half a 22-man team out of forward players in that 185-190cm range. So, barring a brain aneurysm from the coaches, that rules positional experimentation out.

Personally I'm concerned by it. Even a loading issue suggests his body still isn't working as we'd like it to. Not great
The more players that understand forward craft the more effective our forward entries will be.

Eh, is it just me wrapt we avoid Queensland? Nothing good comes from North Melbourne playing in Queensland.

Or Adelaide. We should stick to WA as our only interstate away destination with an occasional game in Sydney
