Colby and Hardeman already look like they've put on size since coming to the club. Archer looks big and a few other boys look like they've put on a decent amount of muscle too. Fantastic to see we've got our strength and conditioning program actually doing something coz that was a huge issue for us having the skinniest kids on the park.

Eh, is it just me wrapt we avoid Queensland? Nothing good comes from North Melbourne playing in Queensland.
Nah, sorry, as a far northern regional NSW interstate paying member on a pension, I'd love the opportunity to go support the boys and girls regularly but myself and many others just don't get that opportunity.

I personally know alot of paying up members, non bigfooty folk that would also love the opportunity.

Yep

Don’t think it’s a choice

One ball for head shave, one ball for perm
Only get out of it by paying $500
Last I heard the shave and the perm were the same, if you didn't want to get the buzz you had to get a perm for x-weeks.

Who knows really, it's a made up game.

I'm not sure if, considering the number of natural forwards we have, that plonking, in the forward 50, a midfielder with the ability to win a Brownlow, is the best way to enhance our forward entries
The practical reason is that lets say you have a few inside mids that can only go in bursts (wardlaw) then you ultimately want increase midfield changes for those players, and decrease midfield changes (and bench mins) for other players, preferably the players that are your guns. Resting your best mids forward is a pretty standard approach, and him training with the forwards increases his ability to impact the game while doing it. Small margins, but all part of winning right.

I know that the talk/rumour was that Chom would be training as a defender, but he appears to be doing a lot of set shot training if is the case
Glad to hear it. We need him forward in his natural spot and helping Larks as another key forward hitting the score board. He has the tools, although goal kicking has been a weakness so it's good that he's working on it.

I really really really hope Chom makes it as a key forward (desperately so in fact), but watching the replay of the round 2 match against Freo the other day he was a liability…
if you go back to the week before that, his presence was a key factor in us winning. Laid some monster tackles.

I wonder why they picked the GC of all places, at the start of summer, where it’ll be around 30 all week, for a football camp.

All I can think of is that it does afford relative anonymity for a bunch of Victorian footballers.

You’d prefer the expensive days of strolling the altitudes of Colarado following the Piped Real Estate extraordinare?

So Gold Coast to name an oval after a Curb Your Enthusiasm character rather than an athlete.
