King Corey, I really don't think your too far off the mark here, kangalotto over a period of time was I guess a little bit of fun and while its probably not that important, it does now seem outdated. Myself, I'm an 80s man, the music, clothes, hair styles and life in general was amazing, the only thing missing was a premiership, how we didn't win one took me a long time to get over it, the talent we had in the 80s was amazing but a few other clubs had just as much talent so I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles, your spot on as in the boys are expressing themselves the way they look, everyone's different, I know its the end of 2023 but young lads will always be like that, yes not every one has to look like a marine, it should come down to individual choice, after all its what you do on the ground that really matters. One of my favourite players in the 80s not a North player was Dermott Brereton, he had a great set of hair and boy could he back it up! I know some people hated him {people hated Carey} yes he could give it but he could take it, Mark Yeates nailing him at the opening bounce of the 1989 Grand Final breaking his ribs, only for him to stay on the ground and a few minutes later to take a big mark and kick the goal, is the stuff of legends, any one today bar your champions would have come straight off and not played any further part in the match.I *en hate it. As much as I'm clinging to the 90s, life happily moved on across many fronts too.
We're not marines. Yeh it grows back but equally these are kids just trying to find their way and express themselves.
It's done nothing for our team bonding anyway. Ditch it.
