Rice is more than just a DM, hes a complete mid fielder now as well as hes such a great leader. Would captain United for the next decade.

I'd take him over any other mid available.
And yet some people here at the start of the season thought he was another Eric Dier....

They may do, but there's also no guarantee Rice fits straight in at Utd either.

I can understand 100m on a top class attacker. But on a DM? Just not worth it IMO. There's options elsewhere available that can do 90% of the job for 20% of the price.

Why go for them when we can buy someone that does 100% of the job? Buy the best available IMO.

Starting centrehalf for one of the best managers in the world. Likely our POTS.

Ph and Bojan, Kessie for free is better value for money than Rice for 100m. Not much between them and would be free.

I thought it was a great practical joke… best ever by Fergie along with Bebe

That must have been the greatest on the spot interview ever. Ferguson only met Bebe a day before signing him. Imagine the level of confidence to spin shit about yourself to Sir Alex Ferguson. 😂

Good player Franck Kessie but Rice is a better and more consistent player. I'd be happy with Kessie but would much prefer Rice, especially long term.

Feel like that probably says more about the state of your defense and how your team have gone more than anything, but fair play he's had a better season than last at least under Mourinho.

Back on Dec just quickly, he's a pure box to box midfielder now. He didn't have say the stamina to play that role 2 seasons ago, but year by year he has progressed, I actually think he'd be best in a 3 man midfield with a pure DM playing behind him nowadays.

Probably top 3rd in the league for defense. Top 3 since Conte has come in I’d say. Wouldn’t be more than 0.5 conceded per game under him. He was good under Nuno amd has been excellent under Conte. Sweeper in the 3 man defence the perfect role.

Only a few days left in the window but is everyone kind of surprised by the lack of activity from Newcastle. Chris Wood and Trippier arent exactly relegation saving material.

I thought they were gonna make a much bigger splash than this in attempt to pull clear of that drop zone.

They’re on the verge of signing a midfielder that most in the top 6 should be after.

I think they are trying to be active. Just having a hard time convincing both clubs to sell their players and players willing to join.

They should be more aggressive on loan market.

They have put in a bid for Dan Burn

because Newcastle are still a mess who would be unappealing to most players now. Tripper will probably finish his career there and wood is a player at a club near the bottom too. If Newcastle manage to survive the summer window is a much bigger opportunity

Probably because it's pretty difficult convincing players to come and that real life isn't like FIFA.
