If I had to guess, Cornet on loan to Turkey, Zouma mutual termination as he won't pass a medical, and Southampton end up rebuying JWP and Ings for 20M quid in a package deal.

Clarke is worth more than that. The club have refused offers more than that. The timing is bad. Clarke is happy and not agitating for a move.
For some reason Sunderland has taken a last minute budget offer for the best player on the eave of what looked like a promising season.
The real cost here is negative a hundred million pounds. No chance at promotion now.

Not sure they have refused bigger deals considering how long is left on his contract, and who's to say he hasn't asked to go? Philogene wasn't agitating for a move but he still wanted to go.

Why would a Champ player not want to go to a PL club? Especially a club where he’s a chance to play a few games
Sad to see Billy go. Would love to have kept him for squad depth.
Might mean the deal for Matt O'Riley could be happening.

One of the great snubbles stories.
Ange had teed up Riley McGree to sign for Celtic.
McGree dogged it at the last minute to sign for Boro instead.
O'Riley was the last minute back up signing.
Celtic signed him for 1.5 million. Sold for 25 million.
O'Riley wins 6 trophies at Celtic. Plays two seasons in the champions league. Signs for Brighton on a big wage.
McGree gets to continue to go to Coventry and do it on a cold, wet night at Stoke.

Good luck to him ..and Celtic for the windfall… but don’t see him as good enough for PL. Admittedly only seen him when Ange was there and he had some decent games but went missing quite a bit.

Wow. They wanted twice that much from English clubs.
Feel like that's a Footy Manager special the way they've structured that deal.
Reading a few posts on Celtic forums it sounds like he got better and more consistent under Rodgers.
Only 23 so hopefully coming into his prime.
