See, this is a bone of contention that I do have with the whole trans athlete thing. To my mind they really need to lose the tackle first. Even if they are already started in on HRT and so their testicles are essentially chemically castrated they still have a penis.

I wonder if there will be a limit to what events the relevant sporting bodies will let transwomen compete in. For example, are we going to see transwomen compete in boxing and MMA?

I don't think any sane person would do it. And they should get help if they are in that mindset.

Do you think that's what transgenderism is? Advantage in athletics?
It isn't... that's just the message being pushed by the alt-right, because they can't bash homosexuals anymore.

I am interested in trying to understand the thought process of transwomen athletes, in terms of how they rationalize the unfair advantage that they have.

You do realise some of the most vocal opponents of the modern trans (without the snip) movement come from the feminist and lesbian communities themselves.

It would be wrong to simply paint opposition to the way this issue is being handled - RE self identification etc, as being just another right wing hobby horse.
