Cloke wants big $. He deserves a roast he's been shit in all 3 games.yep.. like Swanny, Trav had a bad game.. does this really need it's own separate Roast thread?
Trav has kicked 2 goals in 3 games. He must learn to hit the score board against quality defenders not just against the weak ones. Swan & Cloke are probably 2 of our top 3 paid players in the team & they are not giving us anywhere near what is required. Having said that, why do we continually revert to a stick Cloke in the square & bomb it on his head strategy? We need hard leading & movement from everyone including Cloke.
Cloke needs to play up the ground. With his tank he could even have a run on the wing from time to time. Goldsack's versatility is useful but he just is not having a big enough impact. I would replace him with Witts and allow White to remain as a pure forward so that Cloke has a free reign.
Still not convinced that we have a game plan. Defense looked chaotic and unstructured. Lots of panik football and some players that run into team mates (Maxwell, Lumbaba)
Oh look.. a picture of PREMIERSHIP COACH Robert Walls.. thanks for the contribution to the discussion/ witty riposte or whatever you think it was.

Yeah, that'll show em. Great idea.Has to be dropped to send a message to rest of squad.

I think the club should make a thing of the appalling treatment he receives from defenders - at least then the umpires might look out for it, and it certainly couldn't do him any harm. He gets continually scragged and his opponent can basically do anything. If Reiwoldt or Buddy received the same treatment they would lead the comp for frees.
That said, he was very poor last night and dropped numerous sitters
wow.. another picture of a PREMIERSHIP COACH!!!!..... Do you have all these pictures of Wallsy for a reason?? cos it's seeming a bit creepy now from my end. And yeah... I'm sure you know much much more about coaching than Wallsy... But seriously... if you wanted to make a point.. you should have posted a picture of Tony Shaw...... and unfortunately 76'Woodenspooners is onto me about being civil and rising above the trolls at the moment.. so I guess you won't get to see the picture of a big red door knob I wanted to show you.

Roast: One of our most consistent players had a bad day against a tough opponent
Many think those things aren't allowed, because they clearly have never had a bad day in their livesRoast: One of our most consistent players had a bad day against a tough opponent
Except that when Cloke touches the opponents the umpires are usually suddenly razor sharp.Quite a few have commented on the holding and the umpiring and Cloke probably deserved a couple of frees. Last season he probably would have been awarded. But as we now see the new rule this year allowing more jostling and use of strength in marking contests is far from beneficial to Cloke, contrary to what some initially may have thought.
The new rule has simply allowed a defender or multiple defenders to grab and hold Cloke even more than they were doing last season. If it continues to be interpreted as it has been in Rounds 1 -3 then we could see many more frustrating plays and no-calls involving Cloke. As some have already suggested he'll need to change tactics, use his endurance, and get on the lead as much as possible.
