What chances this being even looked at if not for McDonalds reaction.Have to say, when Mcdonald was on the ground whinging about it I was very surprised they didn't call it a sling tackle/dangerous tackle.
That’d be high emotional impactAppeal that. Not even a reportable tackle and even if it is how can you justify that being medium impact. Wtf is low impact then? A kiss on the cheek?
Driving your head towards the ground in a tackle is the new dropping the knees/raising the chicken wing to make the tackle go high.

Because there will come a time and a player when it does matter. A lot? It's Tom Jonas. Why bother.
I raise you Kane Cornes on Sam Mitchell lol
Agreed, needs to be challenged on principle alone because if left, then we are likely to cop one of these in a final with a critical player.Because there will come a time and a player when it does matter. A lot?
And us as a footy club sending a message on a principle of what and what is not an acceptable standard for suspending players is important for when that time comes.
It tells our playing group we have their back if they go hard at the ball within the rules.
Unless the club thinks the MRO got it right, of course.
I’m all for Jonas being suspended but I reckon the MRO could have found 1 or 2 more worthy incidents if they wanted. Baffling.
That was 100 times worse than the football act from Jonas... But hey they only give a shit about the head .. internal bleeding is fine.Viney could've been fined for the unnecessary cheap shot on Boak.
Basically all comes down to the result / injury.Lol these gradings must be done by lucky dip. Seriously how the f@&k does Hunter get graded Medium for a shirtfront while Rioli gets graded Severe for a trailing arm? It’s bonkers.
